Bio Photo NSDAR #927510

My name is Jennifer (Gross)Peters and I live in Clarksville, TN. I am a proud member of the Fort Nashborough Chapter of the DAR in Nashville where I serve as the Chairperson of Volunteer Genealogists.

I work in digital marketing at a book publishing house in Nashville and my husband is in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Campbell. We have three beautiful children in preschool, elementary school, and middle school.

My research interests include:

Roe- Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Norway
Ashton- Indiana, Pennsylvania, Ireland
Stevenson- Indiana, Scotland
Todd- Indiana, Illinois, New York

Gross- Indiana, Prussia
Lemley- Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania
Curtis- Indiana, Ohio
Willson- Indiana, Pennsylvania, New Jersey
Wright- Indiana, Canada

I'm happy to take pictures in the Clarksville/Montgomery County area as well as Ashland City. I do travel to Northwest Indiana (LaPorte, Porter, Lake, Vigo counties) for genealogy work and would be happy to help in any way I can in that area. I've also done a lot of work in Story, Marshall, and Hamilton counties Iowa and would be happy to help with research in that area.

Thanks Jennifer for catching some careless mistakes on my part for Alfred and Clara. Sure am glad that we all have the same goal - to keep memorials as accurate and up-to-date as possible! - Connie

Hi Jennifer, if you will look thru my public messages, you will see some from Rick Valentine--email him. I let him know about this and he has already sent the Edits to Find A Grave and later this week he says he will try to get photos. Email him, nice and helpful.

By the way, Fairmount Memorial Association owns--Pines Cemetery, Greenwood, Riverside, Spokane Memorial Gardens, South Pines, Woodlawn and Fairmount.
They all do their lawns differently.
Riverside uses GPS coordinates. SMG--all of theirs lawns are named after various aspects and things relating to Jesus.
Greenwood--just numbers. So when you call them, they are never just looking up the info. for one cemetery--they are looking at all 7!
Even when you call the # for a specific cemetery, they are looking at all of their records.

So, please in the future, at least get the cemetery correct.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that Henry Tesdahl 1886-1970 is not buried at Riverside in Spokane,
He is buried at Fairmount, also in Spokane.
Specifically, Lawn 21, Lot 443, Space 3
I would edit the cemetery on his memorial but am unable to do so since the creator of it has passed away.
The link they give me to contact Find A Grave itself is not one that we use--ever.

They are all the same line. In Texas they changed it to Vivian at/during/after the war. We killed some from the North during reconstruction and went into no mans land in Texas. I have traced the line back to Cornwall, England to 1166. Some of my ancestors were from Winchester, KY.and left and went to Missouri, then split up and my group went to Texas. My mother was from Georgia, and during WW II she got home sick and we came back to Georgia, where I am today.
I have been doing genealogy for about 40 years. Just finding other to add into and figure out who is who.
Thanks for your response.

The picture that you posted, as to a Vivian b. 17 Dec 1822; d. 11 Jul 1899 in Winchester Cem., Winchester, Clarke, KY, USA. Do you have a better picture or information from the stone? I am a Vivian and have him in my data, but no name. Thanks. G. P. Vivian [Searcher]

RE: Ruth Bergeson at Hi Jolly
You are so welcome. At least we know she's not there. That's something ~ yes? The woman at the library said there were no Bergesons buried there. I wish you much luck!!
