This number, 17081156, would connect him to, Ann Willmore Hawkins, and he already is connected to his parents.

RE: Marcia Riggs Meloy in Leek Cemetery
Hello Ann,

Thank you for your email. Marcia's husband, Lot Meloy, is the brother of my 3X-gr-grandfather, William Scott Meloy.

I will put Marcia's place of birth (and I do have her name as Marcia, as well) down as Oxford, New Haven Co., CT. However, if you do locate her daughter's death certificate and find that Marcia was listed born in NY, I would be happy to make the change.

I relish the puzzle that one's family genealogy presents. There's always more to discover...and it's a grand adventure.

RE: Marcia Riggs Meloy in Leek Cemetery
Hello Ann,

I want to apologize for the VERY LATE reply! I did use your calculated birth date of 19 Oct. 1802 in Marcia's 'Find A Grave' Memorial. Thank you!

I do have a question about her place of birth. According to her death record, 'Marshy Maloy' was born in Connecticut. The 1870 U.S. Census shows 'Mercy Maloy' as being born in NY. However, the 1860 U.S. Census shows 'Mercy Maloy' as being born in CT and the 1850 U.S. Census show 'Morsia Maloy' being born in CT.

Your stated place for Marcia's birth, Livonia, Livingston Co., NY, is very specific. I was wondering where you found this information.

I'd love to hear from you and I'd like to get Marcia's birth place nailed down.

Regards,

Hayhoe
Ann,

I see you manage the sites for James and Adelaide Hayhoe. I've added photos for them and also created sites for: Charles Jay & Helen J. Hayhoe. Do you want me to turn the management over to you. Also, found two other grave markers:
George (1861-1942) and Nora (1866-1951) if you want to build a site for them, I'll add the photos.
