Mussens of Essex
Interested in anything you may have about the Mussen's of the Highlands, Essex co NY. John Mussen/Louisa Drew were buried at Port Douglas, along with their daughter, Emily Mussen Pelkey (most likely in unmarked grave)

thanks

David Huston Henderson, s/o Ebenezer and Jane
Looking through the Henderson family again. I found the Civil War marker application for David Huston Henderson on Ancestry.com; he was buried in the GAR section of Riverside cemetery, Denver, CO. His wife, Margaret S. Burns, was listed in Denver city directories until 1913. Their daughter, Cora Lee Henderson, died at the age of 22 months and is buried in Hope cemetery, Ottawa, KS (as shown in the 1870 census); I've asked that Cora's memorial be linked to her parents.

I've also asked that the memorial for Clark Ebenezer Henderson be linked to his parents, but it has not been done yet. They may be buried with son Paul's in-laws, Congressman & Mrs. Martin Madden near Chicago (same cemetery, matching markers). I added a memorial for their son Paul at Arlington Cemetery - lots of interesting information in those lines. There is currently a photo of Paul for sale on eBay. His obituary was carried by the wire services, but erroneously credited him as "the father of the airmail service"; airmail trials began in 1911, with regular service in 1918. He became asst. postmaster general in 1922, but did institute the beacon network so pilots could fly at night - one of those beacons is still here at Monmouth airport, part of the Chicago to Cheyenne link.

Robert and Margret Henderson - Clearfield, IA
I have posted several photos on Margret's and Robert's memorials.

I would email the "originals" to you if you want them.

Henderson-Gowdy
Hello Judith,

I see you left "flowers" in the past few days for Rachel M. Henderson Gowdy and family, buried in Richmond cemetery, Richmond, Kansas. A very thoughtful volunteer, Darlene, posted photos for all of their markers on October 31st. I thought I'd let you know, in case you wanted to see the markers.

Best regards,

Richard

Found John Russell Henderson & family
I wanted to leave a note that I had found John Russell Henderson and family, and added them to Find A Grave. I did not start the memorial for his wife; that was done by the volunteer who photographed their markers. I have asked that her information be updated, as she actually died in West Liberty, Iowa, not Pawnee City, Nebraska.

Here is a link for John's memorial, which is in turn linked to the other members of the family:
