RE: Whites
Yes that is the link I sent. It seems the headstones with " Lily of the Valley Chamber" and similar ones are somewhat rare. Any time I can do a look up for you using my Drew County Cemetery index book, I am happy to do so. Good luck in your searches!

Valley Farm
There is information about this cemetery listed on the opening page of it. This land is on the same land as the Hollywood or Valley Farm Plantation. There is a 200 year old structure on the property. It is well documented and you might find more information on this cemetery by looking it up. It is believed to be a slave cemetery. I plan to go back to find headstones buried. it is badly grown up and I will need a good stick for snakes and a young back for digging!

I have transfered all Whites to you that are named in the Valley Farm cemetery. I hope you can find info on all of them. I wish I could help you with the meaning of Lily of the Valley chamber. I have seen this and similar engravings of different Chambers. All of them in black cemeteries. It must have a signifigant meaning. I have asked others and scoured the internet but have come up with nothing yet. I will keep looking and if I ever come up with an answer I will let you know. Please let me know if you get an answer also. I have a Drew county cemetery index book that I have been recording out of. If you have anyone you would like me to look up let me know. I go to cemeteries when I can but I also use this book to help record. It is a slow progress tho because of an injured neck. I wish you the best in finding your family members. I found a web site that may help. If you would like it I'll send the link.
