Harriet Abell
The death date for the Harriet Abell in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Towanda, PA is incorrect. It should read February 21, 1941.

Clara Abell
The following brief bio of Clara Abell is based on census and cemetery records. I'm quite sure on the facts, and the only glitch is that the cemetery records have her mother dying in 1894, and the census has her living for many years thereafter:

Clara Abell, daughter of Caleb T. Abell and his wife Harriett, was born, according to the 1900 census, in November, 1883, probably in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. Her father died in 1897 when Clara would have been about fourteen, and she was evidently raised from that time on by her mother. Clara had two sisters, Myra (born 1877) and Mary (born 1890) and a brother who died young, and this was probably George C. Abell (1881-1896). About twenty three when the 1910 census was taken, Clara was single and living at home and working as a bookkeeper in an office supply business. The family was living at 21 State Street in Towanda then. Clara and Mary were still single and living at home in 1920, and Clara was working as a stenographer, though the census doesn't indicate where, and single Mary had the same occupation, she at the Court House. The 1930 and 1940 censuses find who is probably this Clara Abell working as a bank stenographer in Washington, D. C. The 1940 one has her lodging at the Evangline Hotel. She was fifty two then, and she evidently never married. She died in 1974 at about age ninety one, if the 1910 census is correct on her birth year, and is buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Towanda, Pennsylvania. Mary also apparently never married and is now in Oak Hill, too. Sister Myra did marry, to a man named Breed, and she is also with her sisters in Oak Hill.

RE: Please link Bernice Mahone to her husband
If someone had not taken the time to get the project started for someone like Morris and Bernice I could never had found them. Thanks for making this your hobby.

Thanks. Since they had no children I knew you were not a relative.
