I transferred this memorial for you. Just for your future info, if you use the "edit" function on the memorial to make these requests it makes it a lot easier to transfer.

RE: Alanson Fowler
Connie, you and I have been in contact before.

Based on my research, I am 99% sure that Milan is Alva's and Jeantte Fowler's son, in the 1850 and 1860 Census he is in the same house with Jennette. In 1850 Alanson and Mary are also living there, but why would he still be with Jennette in 1860.

The information pertaining to Abrathier has been removed from my tree, I had placed it in there to do further research, and forgot to remove it when I was satisfied it was incorrect.

Milan's daugther Viola is my grandmother. It IS Viola, I have state documents to back that up. Milan's date of death was provided to me by a member of the Jackson County genealogical society. I do not know what the sources are for this.

I just yesterday discovered the Find-a-Grave record for Grace Demos in Jackson County. Demos was the final married name for Grace Lammon-Gehring-Dahm-Fowler-Demos (the spelling of Demos has been recorded as Demis-Demas-Demos in several places each).

Viola disappears from the census because she was put into foster care in 1923, she was raised by Neil and Mary Law in Detroit, Michigan. They changed her name to Anita Law, which is the name she bore when she married Gerald Briles. She did not appear in the 1930 census for unknown reasons, but is in the 1940 census.

Milan fathered 9 children: Ruby, Alva and Anson from his first wife Helen Ursula Delamater. With his second wife, Grace Lammon; Willis, Ruby Luella, Marie Ursula (d infancy), Vincent Henry (d infancy), Anthony and Viola.

There were probably more children, but I have not found any records.

Grace Lammon had 4 children that were born from two previous marriages: Frederick Dahm; Eliza and Elizabeth (twins) and with William Gehring; Bena Matilda "Tillie" Gehring and Marion Gehring.

I have made contact with Eliza Dahm, Ruby Ursula Fowler, and Ruby Luella Fowler's families, none of the aforemention male children ever had children.

I haven't found any record of children for Elizabeth Dahm.

Bena Gehring never had any children but raised Ruby Luella after the 4 youngest children were removed from Milan and Grace's home.

Hi, Connie....thanks for grandpa's memorial. I thought I would let you know that he and Mary share a headstone. I took a picture of their headstone (double) decades ago but it is now gone. Would you mind adding a memorial for her and providing a link on Lee's memorial?

I can't thank you enough for all your hard work.
