Their suggestion:
-------------------------
According to our family History Sarah was married to Daniel not Alexander unless that was his middle name. Are you related to the
McKenzie/McKinzie Family? This is what I show for this part of the family.

Generation No. 1
1. Daniel McKenzie, Sr. was born Abt. 1740 in Scotland, and died 27 Apr 1787 in Henry County, Virginia. He married Sarah Dalton Bef. 1763, daughter of David Dalton and Hannah. She was born Abt. 1745, and died Aft. 1810 in Pulaski County, Kentucky.

Children of Daniel McKenzie and Sarah Dalton are:
2 i. Alexander2 McKenzie, born 1763 in Virginia. He married Sallie Tarrant; born 1769.
+ 3 ii. David McKenzie, born 16 Oct 1763 in Virginia; died 14 Feb 1849 in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
+ 4 iii. Daniel McKenzie, born 02 Aug 1765 in Virginia; died 19 Feb 1850 in Tippah County, Mississippi.
+ 5 iv. Lacy McKenzie, born 1775 in Culpepper County, Virginia; died 26 Dec 1859 in Houston County, Texas.
6 v. Jane McKenzie, born 19 Sep 1778 in Culpepper County, Virginia; died 16 Apr 1851 in Pulaski County, Ky. She married William Clonch 27 Apr 1800 in Pulaski County, Ky..
7 vi. James McKenzie, born 1781 in Culpepper County, Virginia; died Bef. 1882 in Pulaski County, Ky.. He married Sarah James Aug 1804; born 1781; died Bef.1822 in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
+ 8 vii. Rachel McKenzie, born 12 Jul 1786 in Culpepper County, Virginia; died 31 Oct 1875 in Pulaski County, Ky..

Would like to hear from you.

Thanks
jtf, Thanks for your recent picture of Mary Jane Doolin's grave marker in the Eden Cemetery. I need to get back down to the Somerset area soon and take alot of photos myself. Do you ever do researching of where people are buried? I am trying to find out if anyone knows who to call or can get church records (besides what is at the historical society) for the Good Hope Baptist Church on 70. I have several Estes family members buried in the Good Hope Cemetery and I am actually trying to locate the graves of David Estes (1813-?) and Susan Gooch Estes (1818-1881), my ggg grand parents. They have 6 of their 12 children buried in this cemetery and I am fairly confident they too are buried there. If the church had some records of ealry burials and church activity for my grandparents, it would be great to access. Thanks again Tim

RE: Millers
You are absolutely right about GG-grandparents being the 5th generation from one's self. I was looking at my genealogy pedigree and began counting from my father instead of me. I truly beg your pardom. I respect you decision more to hold strictly to the guidelines and will send you the additional info for possible inclusion when I have time to get it together as I want.

I remain optimistic with regard to your final statement: "I might consider a transfer later."

I do appreciate very much you having added the memorials for my GG-grandparents and look forward to seeing them enhanced with the information that I will be able to provide you.

Respectfully, Gerald Miller

RE: Millers
JTF, may I inquire as to whether you are related to Absalom & Hannah (BARTLESON) MILLER? Absalom & Hannah were the parents of 11 children, including my great, grandfather Fountain Fox MILLER, I (1850-1921). He was the father of 8 children including my grandfather Fountain Fox MILLER, II (1884-1921), and he was the father of 3 including my father Fountain Fox MILLER, III (1914-2003). I am James Gerald MILLER (B. 1944).

If you are not related, I respect your right to decide not to make the requested transfer even though it is within the Find-A-Grave Guidelines since I am a lineal descendant within 4 generations. However, I am curious as to why, under the above circumstances, you would choose to deny my request. Obviously, I cannot force the issue and will go away sadly, but I would very much appreciate some feedback as to what has motivated your decision.

If you further choose not to respond to my curiosity, that is also your right and you won't hear anything further from me on that issue. I will, however, "turn the page" and send you some extensive family information in hopes that you will permit it to be added to Absalom & Hannah's memorials.

Respectfully, Gerald Miller

Thank you so much for adding the photo of Vernola's stone. The cemetery records didn't show the dates. Now, I will have the dates to look up the obituary. Thanks again!
