I helped co-write state laws to protect our cemeteries here in Texas. |
I've been Honored by the Texas State Senate, Texas State House of Representatives, The Dallas County Historical Commission for my work in preserving and protecting our cemeteries. I served on The State Senate Advisory Committee as well as being an Advisor to a number of cities in my area pertaining to cemeteries within their city limits. I have helped in clean ups and restoring a number of cemeteries. I believe very strongly in cemetery preservation. Cemeteries in most cases are the only history of those that came before us. Like rare books in a library once it's lost it's lost forever.
I served six years on the Duncanville City Council, two years as mayor pro-tem.
I've been working on family genealogy since 1976. I'm the wife of Wallace Richards.

Judy I would like to thank you for all the work you have done with Find a grave. It has helped me trace my geneology and helped me find relatives I never knew. John Wesley Marion #5564932 is the son of Willie Rachel Marion #30448606 and they are both buried in Wofford Cemetery in Frankston, Tx. Would you be so kind as to update that for me?

Thank you so much for the transfer of my friends grandmother. It means a great deal to me to have the Wilson family connected. May they rest in peace.

Dear Mrs. Judy Richards,
Thank you Maam for all your doing, have done, and shall do. It is quite well.
FYI and benefit. My Great Uncle, Hon. E. Floyd Yates, Sr. with his first bill in the Virginia House of Delegates was the Cem. Bill. You may well want to look that up and see it.
Please add me as your friend on Find A Grave now too.
