RE: Andrew Jackson McClintick
In my genealogy files I have his parents as Findley McClintock (1800IN-1879MO) and Sarah Hill Nay (1821KY-1858MO). Sarah was Findley's third wife. They moved to Linn County, Missouri. I think since she died in 1858, and he was born that year, that she may have died in childbirth, but I'm not sure. The Missouri State Archives have very good searchable death certificate records online.

Andrew Jackson McClintick
Andrew Jackson McClintick's wife was Emma Howe or Howery according to my records. They were married Nov. 7, 1887 in Linn County, Missouri.

Thorn and Poulson reply
I have a virtual cemetery for all the THORNs in Southwest Missouri and some who are outside of Missouri. Just look on my profile under my virtual cemetery list.

I am related to most all of the ones in Missouri. My grandfather had a cousin named Poulson who lived in Carthage, and I remember seeing him several times when I was young, but I can't remember his first name or how exactly it was that they were cousins. Also, I have found that there are a lot of THORNs buried in NE Oklahoma (Green Country) and that it seems to be a Cherokee surname, so that would fit in with what I was told when I was young, that we had Indian heritage.

Stay in touch. I have added you as a friend on here, hope you don't mind.

THORN research
I noticed you had left a message on one of the THORN pages regarding searching for info on THORN and POULSON. Are you researching the THORN family in Missouri? Thank you. Would love to correspond if there is anything we can share.
Best wishes.
