I've been doing genealogy for about 15 years now. Feel free to contact me anytime with questions or comments. Most of my interment records come from the cemeteries themselves or newsclippings or burial info I have in my notes and research.

Some of my direct family lines include:

On my father's side: Bain, Sater, Coe, Hudspeth, Sprague, Johnson, Hickok, Hubbell, Brown, White, Woodruff, Buzan, LaRue, Gilbert, Liniger, Smith, Parker, Barb, Baker and many others.

On my mother's side: Maddox, Argyle, Burt, Valberg, Snowball, Garr, Howard, Petersen, Stoker, Holroyd, Smith, Winegar, Coltrin, Roach and many others.

This list comprises only a handful of the lines. As any genealogist knows, there are a vast multitude of others not listed here. But these are some of the immediate ones.

Also, I've added the Ozark #1 cemetery in Anderson Co., KS and it's burials to findagrave since none of it was on here yet. The only people known to be buried there that I'm related to are Thomas & Alpharetta Pitchford, so if anyone sees anybody they are related to other than the Pitchfords, I'd be happy to transfer their memorial to you. I've tried to do some brief research on these people so there's at least some info about them posted, but some I've had trouble with. For anyone who's interested, to make it easier to see all the Liztown burials quickly, I've placed them all in a Virtual Cemetery. Simply click on the Ozark #1 Virtual Cemetery to get a list of those buried there.

RE: Photo of Archie Smith's gravesite
Cody, it was my pleasure to find Archie's grave site. I did walk the whole section looking for a grave marker and then did a 2nd attempt and realized he had no marker. Enjoyed the walk. I did find another Smith while looking for your great great Uncle and did post the photo.

RE: Nancy McDonald Buzan
Cody, I am presuming that Nancy McDonald Buzan's parents are also probably buried in Warren Co., IL. It's very possible that their graves do not have markers. Nancy is buried at Monmouth Cemetery as are several other members of her family. Unfortunately, Illinois did not make birth and death records mandatory until 1916 so before that, it's a grab-bag to find any information. If I happen to find them, I will let you know. Linda

Sarah Jones Boring
Hi, I was reading the obit for Sarah Jones Boring #39214584 and found some things that interested me. Her husband was Stanford Boring born in IL. I have a family member married to Milton Boring born in IL about the same time. They were also living in KS at one time. Do you know more about Stanford's family. One of Milton's son was Luke Stanford Boring. Thank you for any insight you may have.

William Speer
Hi Cody,
I have transferred William Franklin Speer to you.I know that Find A Grave frowns on dups but lots of the time, such as in this case, when I do a search to see if a person is already listed in a cem, they do not show in the search results and then I add them. You can now keep whichever listing you would like and add all of your family info. Thanks and have a great day!

Lois Smith Winegar
Hi: I was delighted to see the pictures of Lois my Great-Great Grandmother [Jerri, Floyd Crapo, Laura L. Winegar, George Stephen, Lois]...I have felt an increased kinship with Lois as we share an October 4 birth date albeit a 100+ years apart...her life story is one of courage and perseverance...I have a picture of her and a son in front of house in Parker or Egin when she was obviously quite old...if you don't have it and would like a copy, let me know...Jerri Crapo Rudloff

RE: Elizabeth Sater deathdate
Thank you, Cody. There is another Nov 1861 a few lines above that you may also want to change to May 1861.

Rhuhamma Sprague
Cody, Thank you for all of the information on Rhuhamma. I've been searching for her grave for years!
My sister and I have written a book about Sarepta's daughter, Myrtle and her husband, Reid Latta. It focuses on Kansas City, Missouri's 1930's era and involves the political boss, Tom Pendergast and KC Mafia leader, John Lazia. Uncle Reid was murdered! To learn more about our book just google "Pendergast's Retaliation, A True Cold Case File."
My line is through gg grandmother, Sarepta Johnson Rhodes. I'm happy to share my line with you. I've been doing genealogy for over 20 years and have been a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution since 2010 through our Sprague line. Carolyn Clyde Dolan
