I'm the Pat in jonandpatwallace.com. A leading edge boomer, I was born and raised in Chicago and now live with my husband in our 'empty nest' in the west suburbs. My grandparents' surnames were Anderson, Carroll, Bodett, and Weiland. My husband's were Wallace, Steele, Hurt, and Wood. I began my genealogical journey in 2007 and I very much enjoy connecting with cousins, close and distant.|

I am related to the Wallace family (my mother is a Wallace), but I can't find a direct connection to your husband's great grandparents.

I transferred Margaret to you. With all you know about her life, I know you'll take good care of her.

Thank you for the explanation on Emma Conley and where she is buried.
I have many family members buried in Dodge Grove Cemetery as well.....Bresee, Copeland and Thomas. I am sure there are many more, whom I have not located yet. My family came from Coles, Cumberland and Clay Counties. My great grandmother was a Conley, who married a Hanks from Neoga, IL.

Thank you for taking the time to photo the marker for Emma Conley. I am a little confused on this one. I have a death date of Sept 21, 1906 and the stone shows 1901. Need to do more research on this one to confirm that this is the correct Emma Conley.

Thanks for your efforts in taking this photo and posting it for me. I think it may be the wrong one since the burial I am looking for was in 1866 and the tombstone has a date of 1901. Thanks again and I will keep looking.

You are welcome! We're glad to have been able to get you the photo. Are there any relatives we can link George to? I'll try and get a better photo of the marker in the near future. We're slowly building up a photo library of the monuments at Multnomah Park.

I have transferred the memorial to your care so you can edit and make the corrections needed. Have a beautiful weekend.
