Not a problem. I visited the grave often and the first time I was there in the 1960s, it was in better shape. 8-)

The headstone says Aged 53 years and 36 days. That makes the date of death 24 Jan 1839, and if you look at the enlarged photo, you will see that it says 1839 on the stone.

Hello, I'm wondering if you are near the Maness Cemetery in Neosho, MO. I'm writing this note as I notice you seem to be the only one that has submitted gravestone photos. When I originally added my Burrs there was a photo of the cemetery. Now there is no longer one so I wrote FindAGrave and there response was: 'Maness Cemetery does not have a "default" photo designated to appear on each memorial in that cemetery. That is a decision made by admin - neither of the photos for Maness qualifies for default status'. I'm not certain what a default photo is but if you can get there I'm asking if you would take a photo of the cemetery that qualifies as a default photo. Thank you so much.

Caleb Kirk and Sarah Garretsos Kirk were my gg grandparents. I have only one reference for Susannah Ballard Baily. I am not sure if she was married to Caleb or not. I show her married to another Kirk. The time line between Sarah Garretson and Hannah McBride do not seem to fit.
