Catherine Sargent Engle double oops
Thanks for the edit. There was a double mistake. She was born in 67. Both are fixed.

catherine troy smith bird
please excuse my last message. i see now that catherine TROY married first SMITH, second BIRD.

thank you for the accurate post. i learned something today. never knew her name was troy. wonder if she had children by SMITH.
she is apparently buried in a different place, an episcopal cemetery. i'll have to check that out and see if she is next to her first husband.

thank you for the nice memorial to catherine smith bird, second wife of my gggrandfather henry f bird.

where did the TROY name come from?
you have them listed as parents but i never knew about them. if troy is her maiden name, why does the gravestone say "nee smith?"

thank you again for posting her grave. i might add a photo of her now.

RE: Joseph Reuben Smith
Figured you saw it somewhere, cause now way you got it from the death cert. I was trying to connect the work you have done on FamilySearch with prior records for the Smiths but it will involve some merging. If I don't get it done today and you want to play with it later, go for it. We are digging out from snow storm still.

RE: Joseph Reuben Smith
His writing isn't the best, either. I could not imagine what his middle name was. How on earth did you figure out Reuben?

Carol, if you wish I'll be glad to transfer her memorial to you. I'm not related and you have more to do with the cemetery than I do.

Thank you so much for adding that better picture. I appreciate it and I deleted mine
as it was so hard to read. Thanks again for the help.

I first had her as Millie S. as per the marker; when PJ New gave the name correction I didn't catch it. I appreciate the heads up and will comply with your request. Thanks,
