RE: Re: Gaumond headstone
Your welcome, Jill. I do genealogy too, and am always excited when I can solve some mystery. It is neat that they are your great grandparents, and great, great grandfather. Now you can put some more pieces of the puzzle together.

RE: Colston/Coulston
So sorry but I have no records for a Rebekah Coulston. I would be happy to send you what limited info I do have about the descendants and wives of William Coulston. One of his daughter as you likely know was Sarah (Coulston) Ellis. If you are interested; just drop me a line at and I will return my current records for the Coulston family.

RE: Colestown
Just doing what I can! When I first found this site, I was shocked to see how few Coles' there were in Colestown.

RE: Timothy Matlack aka as...
Much obliged to your time for responding to my email regarding the Russian guy and the Declaration of Independence. Before your message arrived, my brother finally believed my works and is now at peace that the original Timothy Matlack, "Jr." the son of Timothy Matlack had done his job in writing the top page of the Declaration of Independence and was not that Russian guy.

Thank you for your generous time in responding to my message. Good evening, Jill, with a smile.

Timothy Matlack aka as...
I hope that I am not repeating this message which I may accidentally sent to you that was incompleted in the first place.

Thank you, Jill, for your time here. My family comes from John Matlack, the son of William and Mary Matlack who came to America.

My brother was bit upset with the story online which I think it is a possible hoax on Timothy Matlack, the embrosser of Declaration of Independence. Due to the "A" in Russian style, Congress kicked him out. Also he came to America from Russia aka as Tomsliva Matlackowsky.

After much time spending on searching on that situation above at the Family History Library in SLC with the help of three experts, I declared that it was a hoax.

I hope I am I?

Mary Hancock/Richard Matlack
Hello, I am the 11th descendant of William and Mary Matlack starting with John Matlack.

Were you saying that Mary Hancock Matlack was born on March 29, 1664?
