Find A Grave's primary purpose is a graves registration website, secondary purpose is a memorialization/remembrance site, tertiary purpose is a genealogical resource.
I will be happy to add info/links to any memorials. Thanks to all that have submitted info, docs, flowers or pics to the memorials to preserve our families. Thanks to everyone who has tried to find stones and found unmarked graves.
I firmly believe we are all God's children and are linked by this belief. | |

 | Memorial # 107245393 Re: Walter A. Smith. You have his Death cert and memorial listed in Dittmer's Store Cemetery. I do not think this is correct. My cross reference shows the latest burial in that cemetery to have occurred in the 1890's. According to the rough handwriting on the cert, I am able to make out the word 'Gamel' in section 18, which is a valid name for a cemetery in Jefferson county. There is a memorial listed (#85230327) in that cemetery for a Walter A. Smith with nearly the correct age,59-ish, though the Find A Grave date of death is off by almost exactly 2 years. At that same cemetery (Gamel) there is also an Elizabeth Smith (# 85224901) born in 1878, two years after Walter. This is likely the 'wife' listed on the cert. The transcription database for that cemetery lists Elizabeth, with the transcription:"Smith, Elizabeth J.1878 1961 wife of Walter A."
Considering all of this, I suggest that the Gamel Location is the correct one for this individual. The date will need to be corrected.

 | Rhoda Bohannon I was at Graceland today and looked throughout with my dad. I grew up in Conway and know the cemetery very well and do a lot of genealogy work. My dad was with me and was on the trustees board for years and at 88 knows a lot about the cemetery. There is no Rhoda there and there does not seem to be records for her, either. Have you looked at the infant Bohannon burials for infants in Wright County? There are several. For a 2 day old infant in 1917, to come from Wright County to Graceland in Laclede is a really long way. HOpe this helps. I'm available for photos or anything else in the nearby areas. | Laura Mae Davis-Harper I wanted to ask if you might remove this duplicate memorial (#32933298). There also exists this memorial (#39329362). I have posted links for my great-grandmother's parents, husband, and all but one child. Let me know what you think. | | | Rhonda
 | Prospect Baptist Cemetery Niangua Mo I was wondering how to find Everett and Goldena Cantrell who are buried in Prospect Baptist Cemetery. Neither of them are listed in any of the known cemetery websites. Goldena's obit.stated she was to be buried Prospect Cemetery East of Marshfield Mo. The only cemetery I have located with that name Prospect in it near Marshfield is this one. Can you help? Thanks so much RhondaAdded by Rhonda on May 10, 2013 6:05 PM | | | CKFiler
 | Grave Memorial #15950969, James S. Anderson I wanted to write and tell you that I think that the James S. Anderson you show at the Swedish Cemetery, Grave Memorial #15950969 is incorrect. I believe that he is buried at the Oak Forest Cemetery as shown on the Grave Memorial #78038935.
I have included Vesta Anderson's obituary, and a link to Vesta's death certificate which both indicate that she was buried at Oak Forest. I was unable to find the death certificate for James S. Anderson, and although I included his obituary, it does not indicate his place of burial.

Oak Forest Items Mrs. Lee Osbern of Kansas City, and Mrs. Birdie Lewis of Wichita, Kans. Came to attend the ?? of their mother, Mrs. J. S. Anderson, who passed away last Friday evening after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Anderson has been in poor health for several months. She leaves three children, Mrs. Osbern, Mrs. Lewis and J. W. Anderson, and several grand children and great grand children. Mrs. Anderson was laid to rest Sunday afternoon at the Oak Forest cemetery. Funeral services by Bro. Mason of Mountain Grove.
Death Certificates: I could not find a Missouri Death Certificate for James S. Anderson, but his wife's death certificate is at http://www.sos.mo.gov/images/archives/deathcerts/1931/1931_00005206.PDF, and it indicates again that she was buried at Oak Forest Cemetery.

 | Kincheloe Cemetery Logan, I am Jennifer Tullos and today my dad took me to the Kincheloe Cemetery in Laclede County Missouri. All of the photos you have requested are in the Laclede County Cemetery, not the Wright County one. I am working on getting the pictures put on here but it may take a few days. I have got the names put on. It is under Kincheloe Cemetery in Laclede County Missouri. Hope this helps some! I will do my best to get these pictures on ASAP!!Added by Jennifer on Apr 21, 2013 6:40 PM | | | | [View all messages...] |
