|Hi, my name is Vickie (Snyder) Pollock. I was born and raised in Pemberton. Married to a Tyrone High School grad. The letter from Kim Gutshall and Robin Rupert couldn't have come at a better time for me, as I'm working on my family tree. |
I've spent a lot of time walking through family cemeteries looking for relatives. This will be very helpful. Hope others looking for family will helpful as well. Thank you Kim and Robin and also Mary Fink for sending this letter to me.
Vickie (Snyder) Pollock.

Hi there! Yes, I do not live far from my mother. Seven Stars Cemetery is just up the road from Franklinville. There is a John Snider that dies in 1848. Im not sure how far you are dating your tree but it is possible that he is from your clan somewhere. Keep watching for the post on Seven Stars as you might find more relations to you. I really enjoy doing this as it helps my children lean that just because they are gone doesnt mean that they are 4gotten. If you would like me to transfer your dad to you and then you can manage it i would be glad to. I am doing this to help out Franklinville, as the map to the old section was lost years ago. No I didnt publish a book. I am still adding things to it. I will not get it published, just handing a copy to the Historical Soc. in Huntingdon County and Blair County. I am willing to make a few extra booklets incase someone wants a copy. Let me know... you can reach me at 632-3885. Thank you so much for your interest. =0)
Hi Vickie. I am so glad that I, Rob, & Mary helped you. I also wanted to let you know that if you have relations in Seven Stars I am finishing up Franklinville then moving to this one. Please if you need anything at all let me know as I would be greatful to help. This is becoming addicting. Ha Ha Take care and keep in touch!
