I believe that this gentleman is my 5th Great Grandfather. Can you tell me how your husband is related. I had heard that Batdorf had been changed to Pottorf and then Potter, but never had communication with anyone who knew much more than that fact. Can you help me? Thank you so much for the memorials that are such a great help.

Notice you have Akey Worley and his wife Jane listed as buried in Lindentree Cemetery and at the Harmony Cemetery that has a picture of the headstones.
They are buried at Harmony Cemetery and not Lindentree Cem.

Alberta, I am terribly sorry if I have confused you. The corrections you made for her memorial are all correct except that she never married, so she was not the wife of the gentleman you have her linked to. I hope this clears away any fog. Thanks for all you do for Find A Grave.

Sorry for the confusion...
You have the memorial #42629345 named Anna Elizabeth Goldman Batdorff listing her as the wife of George Peter Batdorff. In reality, as the pictured tombstone shows, her name was Elizabeth Batdorff, and she was the DAUGHTER of George Peter Batdorff and his wife Anna Maria Kurr. The confusion comes because we are speaking about two different George Peter Batdorffs... the above mentioned Elizabeth's father and mother are the afore mentioned GP and Anna, he being the son of Hermanus Heinrich and Maria Anspach. the father of Elizabeth of the memorial was only married to Anna Kurr; while another George Peter, the son of Johannes Martin Batdorf and Maria Elisabetha Walborn, was the husband of Anna Elizabeth Goldman and Eva Elizabeth Reith. The memorial you created actually belongs to Elizabeth, the daughter of GP and Anna Kurr, not Anna Elizabeth Goldman.
I hope this clears the fog of confusion.

Thank you for lending me Cortland - I have added the link in the bio to his twin and transferred him back to you.

90? Wow - bless you - I think you're doing just great to be on a computer and doing what you do. And it is much appreciated, so keep up the good work.
I am not related, but I got into researching the Sheilds family because my aunt used to own the Shields' farm, and Cortland gave her some old photos when she bought the place back in 1971. So when I was adding the photo and saw Cortland had a twin, who was also on the site, I wanted to see them linked together.
If you want to temporarily transfer Cortland to me, I will make the link and then transfer him back to you.

Do you know how to make inline links? If so, I would love to see Cortland connected to his twin brother: Kenneth Shields
