PLEASE DO NOT POST CHANGES OR MAKE REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS, THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE ON ANY OF MY MEMORIALS IN MY COMMENTS. ANY CHANGES TO MEMORIALS OR TRANSFERS WILL ONLY BE DONE THROUGH THE EDIT TAB, SUGGESTIONS FOR CORRECTION OR ADDITONS, ON THE MEMORIAL PAGE. WHEN ASKING FOR TRANSFER PLEASE INCLUDE REASON FOR TRANSFER AND YOUR FIND A GRAVE NUMBER (LOCATED BEHIND YOUR NAME ON YOUR MAIN PAGE) I WILL GET TO THEM AS SOON AS I CAN.
I am asking if you send me a request for changes, or transfer please be patient with me. I am dealing with the stress from doctor appointments for myself, husband and daughter, back and knee problems, along with taking care of grand kids in there, I don't get on here as often as I would like too. I try to get on for a few minutes daily, I fill request for photos for those that I have. If I have a few extra minutes I will do a few other up dates.
I have no problems making changes or transferring memorials to relatives.

|Jesse Rhodes||RE: Mr. Ole Volland|
Thank you so much for the information. As it turns out Ole is likely the brother of my great great grandfather. So I have put his research on hold for a while. I will refer back to you message when that time comes.
John Erickson, Find A Grave Memorial# 58235282 MAY NOT BE the spouse of Clara Thayer Erickson (Find A Grave Memorial# 58235265) – I’m sorry for the confusion

I'm going to talk to his sister Claire and see what her wishes are. She may want to reunite Jackie with his parents at St a Patricks Cemetery in Lowell here.... Or... She may want to honor Jackies wish and let his urn stay in Minnesota. But, I want to wait until Jackies friend Marlo sends me the pictures by mail that he has. I'd like to have Claire do a positive photo ID if possible to be absolutely sure that this was him!
But, thank you for all that you've done! When I talk to Claire and do the definite ID, I'll let you and Jim know.

Maureen, I just noticed that where it says Burial, there are two separate responses. One says the cemetery, together says unknown. I am talking with his sister Claire about what she may want to do with the situation. I told Jim that I'd get gave to him about it.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I was curious to find out how you had so much information about Jackie that was in his obituary. I did get a call from Jim who gave me more info about John. That was great because the family here had no knowledge about Jackie, where he's been, what he was doing at all. Until I came across the findagrave obituary, we didn't even know if he was dead or alive, honestly. Jackies parents have both passed away, but, his sister Claire, my cousin, is doing well. I've been telling Claire about everything and now have more info to tell her, thanks to you posting that obit.
Jim also gave me a phone number for Marlo who I did call and speak to. He gave me more information and had much praise for Jackie. He also told me about Jackies physical and mental health and told me of Jackie's past history with him as a friend for 20 years! Unbelievable! But, best of all, Marlo told me that he has pictures of Jackie and offered to send them to me after making copies! This is just what I need! I have the matching name of John H Corcoran. Jackie was actually a junior too although he probably never said it. I have the matching date of birth and the root city of Lowell. But, if I could get the pictures and show them to his sister Claire and my older brothers and sisters, they could make an actual photo ID and there would be no doubt that it was him! Although, I'm 99% sure that it is.
The Corcoran family is pretty big over here in Massachusetts. I have four brothers, five sisters, 23 nieces and nephews, three of my own kids, great nieces and nephews and on and on. Jackie only knew a few of my brothers and sisters before he left and was not heard from again until your post. I want to thank you for posting that info! This Corcoran family mystery would not have been solved if you had not!
The pictures from Marlo will take away any doubt I have, but, I'm pretty confident that this family mystery has been solved! Thank you again!

Maureen, my cousin Claire had a brother named John Jackie Corcoran who left the family and was never heard from again back in the sixties possibly. While doing a search, I found this info on find a grave that is very similar. Jackie would have been born in Lowell, but, the obituary doesn't name any family or relatives. Is this him? I'd love to solve this mystery for the family.
