|Gary Snyder||Mary Walker Maurer #60378883|
Last name should be Mauger. She was the second wife of Theodore Rankin Mauger, who died in 1929. Her parents were George Walker and Laura Frizzell. Cemetery records show her buried in Lot 135, section 20, grave 1. Thanks for your help.
|RobMinteer57||transfers of Ethel Wright's relatives|
Thanks so much for this last batch of transfers of my paternal grandmother's cousins. I'm into my mother's family now, so it'll probably be many years before I have very many on the other side of the family to find.
Thank you for the edits :)

Hi, I just noticed this. Elmer's parents can't be George Washington and Emeline (Kennedy) Sowers son. He was born before they were.
|Donna Booze DiMurro||George Issac Porter|
Just asking if you are sure of the parents of George? All of my info matches except the names of the parents. I have his father as George Porter and his mom as Orpha Ann Tucker. And- his wife as Sarah Ellen Shearer.
I'm trying to find out where George is buried and was "stopped" here with the different names of parents.
Thanking you for your help,
Donna Booze DiMurro
All I was trying to do was take out the period after the middle name. I inadvertently left it there when I changed the middle initial to the full name. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks for doing such a good job on reading some of those old headstones. Jan
|Patsy Kimble Brunner||RE: David S. Kimble|
Thank you so very much! I will continue my search for information on David's specific birthplace (city) and, even more importantly, information on who his parents were - I have NO idea who his mother and father were.

I don't know if you can answer a question for me, but your name is shown as contributor on the page showing of my great-great-great grandfather's headstone, so here goes:
The information for David S. Kimble
indicates that he was born in Virginia in 1805.
I had always had the 1805 birthdate in my records, but the Virginia birth location was new to me. (Previously, I believed he was born in NY somewhere.)
Do you know more about David's birthplace, parents (especially father's name), or the source of the information? Or should I be asking someone else? This has been a LONG running roadblock for me.
