My husband and I are new volunteers to find a grave. We're based in Virginia Beach, but make the occasional trip to nearby cities. | |

 | correction? Beth, I did some searching and found a Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Howell, MI too. I'll give it a look over tomorrow and see if I find anything.

 | Barron request Beth, I claimed the request for Ellen Barron, but I've been unable to find it. I walked around the whole cemetery today and didn't see anyone matching either first or last name. I wonder if her stone might have sunk and is covered? There's no office there at the cemetery, but I can give a call to St. Joseph's if you'd like to see if they have records.

 | PLOETZKE GRAVE IN L.I.N.C. Hi, I got the picture you requested for Otto Ploetcke. But note that while the stone has the surname spelled right, the first name is Ernest. The dates match and it's the right grave so must it be a typo somewhere. Hope this makes sense to you. Have a good one... GlennAdded by GLENN on May 30, 2009 9:59 AM | | | lilgreenbean
 | Portsmouth Naval Hospital Confederate Cemetery Hello! I noticed that you claimed a photo request for this cemetery, and was wondering if it is located on the base? My daughter and I are going to the hospital next Tuesday, and we would be happy to take the photo if you don't have access to the base. Just let me know! :D | | | David McGuire
 | Robert Sweiger's Grave I want to thank you for your efforts to locate Robert's Grave. I am Robert's cousin, both of his parents are still living, they couldn't remember if his grave was marked or not, they lived in Portsmouth in the early 60's, and they moved back to Mankato, Minnesota in about 1964. He is buried in the buried in the cemetery mentioned but I guess his grave isn't marked. | | | | [View all messages...] |
