IT NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE ME HOW CONTRIBUTORS HAVE THE TIME TO CRITIQUE MEMORIALS OF OTHERS TO THE POINT THAT THEY WANT YOU TO GO BACK AND PUT A PERIOD AFTER AN INITAL.

AS PER FINDAGRAVE
If a duplicate is created on the site for the same individual, the memorial page that was created in the correct cemetery first is the memorial page stays. We have a way to know where a memorial page was created and if and when it was transferred to another cemetery. Creating memorial pages as burial unknowns, moving to the correct cemetery after the memorial in the correct cemetery and then telling the contributor that was their first that they are second and to remove theirs is called Backdating and is not acceptable on the site. If Backdating a memorial is brought to our attention, then that memorial page will be removed from the site.

Judson Eratus Portzer
Hi Rose,
I created a memorial for Judson # 149676077 today.

I had his last name as Plyler, so I will delete mine.

Have a good day.

Brasher / Brashier / Brazier
Most of the Brasher's / Brashier's / Brazier's are related if You go back far enough. They came from S.C. and settled in Shelby Co. They not only spelled their names differently , They always pronounced the last name differently ( BRASHER ) They had a saying that if You had money Your name was pronounced with an sh sound like Brasher , but if You did not have money and did not think You were better than other people ,You pronounced it like a Z sound like Brazer. I know that it does not make sense .
Thanks so much for Your kindness.

Terry Lane Brasher
Paulette was My sister in law and I thought I had her connected to My nephew Harvey Leon.
I wondered if You were related ? So I checked Your memorials. I am just so shocked and hurt to find out Terry died and I did not know. I was married to their Uncle and He died in 1975 , so since everyone has gotten so old, We do not keep in touch. Would You consider transferring him to Me? Perhaps I have some in Your family that You would like to have.

The final disposition needs to be known before a memorial is created.
If it is for a newly deceased, a memorial can be created using the Recent Death, location of body unknown option. If this option is used, then the memorial needs to be updated with the final disposition information within 30 days.

Patience is a Virtue"

If I read this correctly, once someone has entered a memorial in this manner, they have 30 days in which to place deceased in the correct cemetery. After the 30 days then perhaps your rule may come into effect.

I am not saying the rule you have doesn't exist, I am just trying to find it, so I will know for sure it is correct. The only place, I have seen this is on your bio and one other.

RE: Myles Miller
I would be honored to fill in the information on his memorial. This was a very sad situation ( she was almost 6 months pregnant and the cord got around his neck) , maybe seeing how many people are waiting on him, his mother will feel a little better.
Thanks for your time.

Myles Logan Miller
Rose,
Thank you for starting this memorial for Myles. He is the stillborn son of my cousin. I can supply you with family members for him back to his great great great grandparents. I also have the information on his parents and siblings. His mother is Marla Lovell Miller and his father is Chad Miller. He has a sister named Claudia Makenzie Miller and a brother named Caleb Mason Miller. His grandparents are Micky and Donna Lovell and Neal and Micky Miller.
Please let me know if you would like the information on the memorials to link to Myles.
Again, thank you for what you do.
