I started tracing my roots when I was a teenager but I put it away for a long time. If there is a photo you need feel free to copy it. If there is any memorial of your family member(s), please ask and I'll transfer.

She is most likely at Coan if that is where the stone is, I rechecked the newspaper, but as we all know just like us the also make mistakes. Her services were at Coan. I have moved her memorial over to Coan. If you could add the memorial for her husband and connect them that would be great Thanks Marsha

Richard Payne Bryant
Hello,

I have an original charcoal drawn portrait of Richard Payne Bryant in my possession in the original frame in excellent condition as it has been carefully stored.

Richard was my great great grandfather and I inherited the portrait.

Please let me know if you would like to see the portrait or I can at least send a photo of it via email to you. It's quite a work of art.

RE: Lawn Croft Cemetery
Hello Tony. Very glad to help. The staff at the cemetery office is very nice, so I can get the information for a family plot and pass it on to the families. I prefer to find and photograph all graves in a plot and not just the single person on the photo request - to me, that's just common sense and really helps the families. Take good care.

Millard F. Wilkins
Hi Tony,

Thank you for entering this information about my dad, Millard Filmore Wilkins, born in Village VA.

My mother was Geraldine McNeal Wilkins, and expired April 16, 2013.

I think we are 4th cousins.

I am gathering family information as I slowly go through tons of papers. I wish I had documented family info. when my Dad was well.

My family tree has branches that cross. We are related on the Wilkins side. Your Great Grandmother, Eleanor Wilkins, and my Grandfather, Eddie A. Wilkins being siblings.

Your Grandmother, Daisy Wilkins Bryant and her siblings were my father(Millard Filmore Wilkins)first cousins. One of Daisy's siblings being Bates Wilkins, married my Great Aunt, Ruth McNeal Wilkins (on my mothers side). Ruth was the youngest and my Grand Mother(Mammie McNeal/McCready/Jones) was the oldest.

Thanks again for your entries. I will share pictures if I find any.

Thomas Potts
Hello Tony,

I'm researching my Wilkins-Potts family of Northumberland County,Va.

Thomas was the Father of the wife of my G,G,Great Grandfather Willis J. Wilkins, Willis was a Cpl. in the Marine regiment of Northumberland Co under Capt. Way of the War of 1812.

Please keep your antennas on for these in the cemeteries.

Thank you!

David

Bryant cemetery
Tony,
The cemetery , so I was told, is on the farm which was last owned by Arnold Bryant. I have not asked to get photos, didn't know how they would feel about it. You do what you want. They were the parents of Doug Bryant. The Northumberland Historical Society states that the cemetery was near Village.
Sorry about Kitty..she was such a nice lady.
