I started using the findagrave site in 2008. Since then, I have become addicted to the site and taking Photo requests, and then adding new entries when I find them as I look for the requests. I volunteer at the New Hope Public Library, and have quite a listing of cemeteries now, in the area. Much thanks to those who post extended info, it helps so much when I am helping people find their connections.

Jonas B. Maples #77042127
Grammy. Problem: Jonas Maples did in fact marry his first cousin Mary Bethany Maples & they had one child. Ada Maples who died before age 10. After Jonas died Mary Bethany Maples/Maples married a Stevenson & had several children. She did not die until 1950 in Polk County Arkansas. The Memory stones located in Baker Cemetery are wrong. I have corrected the memorials years ago. I wonder if you would have any suggestions on how I could correct this information or find out who placed these stones at Baker Cemetery. I don't know if you are family or not. Jonas B. Maples's memorial corrects the issue. I am thinking of placing notes on each of these stones. The one for Mary Bethany Maples needs to be removed as she has an actual tombstone in Polk County Arkansas.

What do you think?

Living people in Cedar Hill
Lots of folks' names appear on a headstone before they are dead. But it would creep me out to see my name in find a grave. Please don't add people who are not dead.

Bervene Brooks
Hi! Sorry for the delayed response. I have not been active in over a year. I looked at Bervene Brooks pictures that I posted a year and a half ago and found this that I wrote under one of the photos: The surnames Jackson, Mitchell, and Brooks were in this lot together. I took pictures of each stone as requested. I reached the max allowed for pictures but there is a C.B. "Bud" Mitchell and Ruth Brooks Mitchell, Anna Rice Brooks and John R. Brooks, Kenneth Mitchell.

If you would like for me to delete one or more of the pictures let me know and I would be happy to do so.

RE: Honeycomb Cemetery
The Honeycomb Church was across the highway from the graveyard. They were working on the highway and a construction worker showed us how to get to the cemetery.
I know of no history or inventory of the cemetery. It is located near the 315 mile marker on US 431 between Guntersville and Huntsville Alabama in Marshall County Alabama.
If you find anything, please share with me.
I don't know about Marchall County records, they may help.
