Hello. I see where you have added a memorial for the above person. If it is the person I think it is he was married to my great aunt, Mae Kopper at the time of his death and they have children together. Do you know if this is the right person? Would you mind correcting this gentleman's birthdate to August 29th, 1943? I would be glad to take the transfer of the page, as well, if that is at all possible...but I want to be honest and stress to you that I am not related to John, in any way. I am presently researching my own family casualties in the many wars through the years, and John, as well as a few other Vietnam casualties crossed on my radar because of a family member who did, indeed, share today's date as a birthdate. Thanks for the corrections on the Beery family. David Beery was my great-great grandfather. I spent many hours at his home in Augusta, WV. His only child with second wife, Jacob DeNeal Beery, was my great-grandfather and is buried in Augusta Cemetery in Hampshire County, WV. Several of his children/wives and their children are also buried there.
I could help with part of the lineage because I have a copy of the Beery Family History (1957) by William Beery and his daughter, Judith Beery Garber. I don't know of a book published in 1976.
