I am diligently working on my family history. Find A Grave has provided alot of information to me and I want to return the favor. Right now the only memorials I have a those directly related to me. I am in the Tucson area - and can research and photogragh if requested.

Happy Hunting!!

RE: Kell family
Hi Patty, the Kells are buried in Hill Grove Cemetery in Connellsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. There are 6 of them John Kell and wife Magdalena Werts or Wurtz their sons Braden Kell, never married, Nathaniel Barnett Kell and his wife Ida Marie McClure and their son's memorial Alfred Hood Kell. John and Magdalena also had a daughter Annie Elizabeth Kell she married a man by the name of Clarence Sylvester Chain. I am not sure where they are buried, but I bet I can find them. Do you need anymore. Sorry about the hacker, they sure can mess things up. If I can help in anyway to restore your records, you can look at my family on it is a public family. (Ow family)

Honoring those who have gone before
Hey You
What is up AZ Patty!

Been thinking about you. You need to hit me up and we can chat.

A Find A Grave friend is raving about getting to meet face to face with her first Find A Grave person ... crushing because I thought I WAS her first. Don't you just hate being told you aren't the first, even when she met me before this weekend? LOL

It's all good, FYI, you do know you're my first Find A Grave peep I got to meet in real life, even though she and I have been talking for 15 years. I had to go to IL meet her and you were here in CA.

Seriously, we do need to visit more often.

RE: Epitaph for Cassie Sims
Hi Patty,

Are you related to Cassie? Or possibly Pinckney?

I am the local Sims family history "guru", and have quite a bit of info on the Sims family.

Kell family
Patty, I am trying to find the mother of John Kell. He was my great-great grandfather on my mother's side of the family. I have lots of information about the Kells, some of which has been handed down by word of mouth. I know his name is on the plaque at Gettysburg, he was born in 1830 and died in 1912, the same year as his wife, Magdelena Wertz, she being born in 1833. I know he was illegitimate, but not much more. At first I thought his mother was Selinda Kell, but she was born in 1823, so she would only have been 7. None of the other sisters were old enough. I know nothing except he took his mother's name. Can you be of any help? Olive Emerson. Thanks, hope we are related.

Mollie L / Mary Elizabeth Craig Rankin
Someone commented on the difference in names, but the same dates. Her birth name was Mary Elizabeth Craig. Mollie was the nickname for her Mary. The 'L' on the gravestone was for Lizzie, which was the nickname for her Elizabeth. She went almost all of her adult life as Mollie Lizzie, but her legal name was Mary Elizabeth. She was my great grandmother.

Patty how are you related?
