He is my great great grandad. By his second wife he had a son James Theodore Meadows who had a daughter called Elizabeth who married E.R. Thompson who had my dad Richard Thompson. I have the name Alford alot in my family tree too. Jarrell, Ferrell, Meadows and because of alot of 2nd marriages Basham and a few others from Boone county, WV. Thanks for all you do. I live with my Dutch husband in the Netherlands so everything you do is a tremendous help to me. I can't afford right now to go home... last time I was in WV was 2003! So very very many Thankyous!! can I add you as a friend? Do you have a tree at ancestry.com?
