I began using this website as research tool for a photo essay on historic cemeteries in the Black Hills of South Dakota. I have found, in the process, that being a photo volunteer is quite fulfilling.
I love being helpful for those who are seeking photos of their ancestors/relatives headstones. It's quite satisfying knowing that you have done something to give someone else a sense of peace, a smile, closure. In addtion I continue to document the interment aspects of local history. | |

Your photos are great. Just noticing at Beals cemetery that there seems to be a lot of duplicates.. one with your photo and the other with detailed family relationship information. Wondering if you could add your photo to the memorial with all the info, and then we could have the memorial creator delete the unnecessary memorial.
