|I've been researching genealogy for over 30 years, focusing on the KINSEL families and their descendants in the US. |
My primary goal is to find the origins of Michael KINSEL who married Nancy LANE. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, no one has ever been able to pinpoint the precise location(s) for the graves of Michael or Nancy.
They moved from Fauquier and Loudoun Counties in Virginia through Pennsylvania and settled in Perry County, Ohio.
Some descendants remained in Virginia. The ones who removed to Perry County, Ohio eventually went to Fairfield, Franklin, Jackson, Ross and Vinton Counties, in Ohio. They splintered off from there to Clay, Effingham, McLean and Moultrie Counties, Illinois; Davis, Lee, Ringgold and Van Buren Counties, Iowa; Knox and Greene Counties, Missouri; Webster County, Nebraska; Sedgwick County, Kansas; and many more places not mentioned.
Surnames include, but not limited to:
KINSEL (any spelling variation), DAYMUDE (any spelling variation), HARPER, KIRKPATRICK, RUSH.
Ultimately, I would like to see all the descendants of Michael KINSEL and Nancy LANE linked together in Findagrave.

Thank you so much for linking Rosa to her parents, Lewis and Bertha Lehew Warehime. I have Lewis linked to his Warehime parents, but so far have not figured out the identity of Bertha's Lehew parents. Their marriage record says that Bertha was given in marriage by J. D. Lehew. Because she was married in Morgan County, I thought that perhaps she was born there. There are many Lehews, but so far I cannot find her in an 1880 census. If you should see something on a J. D. Lehew, please let me know. I would appreciate it!
