|I've been researching genealogy for over 30 years. Most of my people in the US came out of Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina and New Jersey. Many settled in southeastern Ohio before heading west to Illinois, Missouri, Iowa Nebraska and Kansas. |
I've been trying to link as many family members together as possible to help others discover 'missing' relatives. I extend a warm 'thank you' to all who have helped me achieve my goal. It has been my pleasure to contribute to and be a part of the Find a Grave community.

Thanks you for correcting this and all your work on find-a-grave. The founding family did spell their name Chenoweth and today 92% of the family in America uses this spelling, though there are multiple variants. Eleanor's line was not one to use a variant though many early records used phonetic spellings at will. Whatever. God Bless.

Thank you so much for linking Rosa to her parents, Lewis and Bertha Lehew Warehime. I have Lewis linked to his Warehime parents, but so far have not figured out the identity of Bertha's Lehew parents. Their marriage record says that Bertha was given in marriage by J. D. Lehew. Because she was married in Morgan County, I thought that perhaps she was born there. There are many Lehews, but so far I cannot find her in an 1880 census. If you should see something on a J. D. Lehew, please let me know. I would appreciate it!
