I have been researching the family since 1976 and since retiring in 1997, I have been fortunate in persuing my passion nearly non-stop. |
Many years have been spent adding flesh to the old bones of both my parents as well as my wife's parents forefathers.
Because genealogy is a true passion of mine, I have been blessed with being a guest lecturer to a large genealogy group located nearly forty miles from my home for the past several years.
Through this research, I've met many relatives in most of our fifty states and I stay in touch with them by e-mail or phone on a regular basis. It is great to hear the many stories handed down from one generation to another as I locate new family members.
A family reunion is held each year and I use this gatherig to retrieve new information (births, deaths, marriages & divorces) from the attendees which number 125 - 150.

Big thank you John for addressing the mix up, it happens. I have made my share of boo boo's. If ever you need a connection please just write and let me know, I will be more than happy to do so.

Do you realize how old John Sr b. 1818 was (not to mention his wife's age at the time of Jacob's birth you have) would have been, IF she gave birth to Jacob? Almost 65 years old!
This Jacob you say is my John's boy was born 1883.
Please take these added connections off, they are not my work and not my research results.
I take days researching one name, when I look at my Memorial now it looks like a 5th grader did the research, nothing makes sense.
You have daughter in law as wife, grandchildren as John b. 1818 children. Please change it and let me have the Memorial the way I had it.

I noticed you added data to my John Jacob Martin Memorial # 97998920.
I just explained to Red you are confusing the tree when you add data without consent.
Now on my Memorial, you have added John married his daughter in law. Actually, his son married Emeline Seiger, not Father. My John Jacob Martin's ONLY wife was Anna Marie, he never married his daughter in law.
Honestly, I have put a lot of time in researching Martin tree, you are confusing son with Father.
Please fix the error, I can't since you were the one who added it on my Memorial.
Thank you for your time-
