RE: Flowers for my Grandmother
You are so welcome, Ella was so young & indeed beautiful, I was fascinated by all of her accomplishments in her short life.

It was nice hearing from you and warm wishes to you and yours.

Katherine McCabe photo request
In your request, you said there were no other McCabe's in this cemetery. There is another buried next to Katherine. If you would like to make the memorial, e-mail me before I post the photos this evening and I will send the info.

May I have permission to use the photo on Roy Hall's memorial in my private family tree?

Fanshers at Fansher Cemetery
I am not sure where the "old" cemetery is in relation to the "new" cemetery, but I posted photographs that I took today of the Fansher gravestones that I easily found. It started to pour rain so didn't get a chance to take all of the photos I wanted. Have a look at the memorials and photos on Find_A_Grave. You can/may have all of them if you like, as well as the one I took of David Fansher and Elizabeth (Bellinger) Fansher. It was already posted as you know. My e-mail address is and I can send you the photos as attachments which will be a better quality than copying them from Find_A_Grave. It's your choice. Whatever you would like. I have other photos to add to other memorials for Fansher Cemetery as well.

RE: David and Hannah Fansher
You are more than welcome. I just visited both the old and newer Fansher cemeteries two weeks ago. The only two markers I could located in the older cemetery were David and Hannah's. I was searching for Jonathan and Mary (Fansher) Brackett who are in the newer cemetery. I also visited the Lambton Reading Room (Archives) In Wyoming, Ontario and one of the histories of Euphemia gives David' 1st wife as Hannah Tirrell. Sorry the pictures of the markers are not better but the markers were not in very good shape. I just posted a picture, taken from Fred D. Fansher's history of the family of Elizabeth (Bellinger) Fansher.

RE: Mt Hope Cemetery Chicago
Hi. I went to Mt. Hope Cemetery today and took photos. They have been uploaded.

I did find a grave for Ruth E. Fansher 1916-1924. The info matches your Ruth E Fansher except it is not Mt. Hope Cemetery on the website. She is buried right along with the other 4 graves at Mt. Hope.

Would you happen to have a Susanna Coffin in your family history. 7/1/1680 to 7/11 1740. Nantucket Island. She is my 7th great-grandmother.

My family, Thomas Barnard, and his brother Robert, were among the 15 first landowners of Nantucket Island. Because they lived on Nantucket, I have Coffin, Swain, Macy, & Folger in my family tree.

Wouldn't it be funny to find out that we are related and discovered this through Find-A-Grave.

Catherine Russell
Hi again,
I was checking the other interments in the cemetery Catherine is buried in and found Anor Wooley Butler's. In her bio it says "Although childless herself, Anor provided a home for Catharine Russell, the motherless daughter of her nephew John W. Russell." In Catherine's bio it says Catherine is the "6th of 8 children of Silas and Hester Russell." A Catherine Russell is living in Anor Butler's home in 1850, I know. Silas is my direct ancestor, so if he's her father it would make a difference. If John is her father, is John related to Silas?

Sorry to be so confusing!
Thank you for any help you can provide,

Catherine Russell, d/o Silas
Hi there,
I just found Silas on findagrave (he's my 4th g-grandfather) and saw that he had a daughter Catherine linked to him. I didn't know about this daughter, since she wasn't in the 1850 census and apparently died in 1853. Are you related to this family? Thank you so much for all the information you posted about Catherine on her memorial, I didn't know any of it. How did you find this information?

Thank you,
Kim Iezzi (FL)
