Janet, I am a direct descendant of John Brown and Nancy Lowery. You may transfer the memorial to me if you wish. There are several Brown headstones that I'm looking for. Could I send you a list and ask that you let me know if you should stumble upon any of them?

Thanks

Hi, Janet! First I want to thank and congratulate on all of the wonderful work you do to connect people with their ancestors. I wanted to make a little spelling correction. The wife of John Brown was Nancy "Lowery" (not Sowery). Would you please make that correction?

Thanks again for your hard work!

John D, Noel grave
Hello, I just tonight saw the link to F-A-G through Ancestry that lead me to Noel Cemetery and shows John D. Noel as being buried at the Noel Cemetery. Unfortunately that is incorrect. He is buried at the Shelt-Noel Cemetery. If you would like to look at my family tree on Ancestry, my username is MaNoel4556, and the tree name is the Noel-Goodwin Family Tree. I have information there that gives this. I have also been to the Shelt Noel Cemetery and witnessed the headstone and taken pictures of it. I can forward a picture of the grave stone if you would like. His wife name Melinda is also given on the headstone.

Thomas W Titus
Janet:

Here are the correct children of Thomas W Titus.
Jesse Titus 1833-1887
Margaret Jane Titus 1835-1854
Mary Elizabeth Titus 1837-1893
James Titus 1839-1887
Rachel Titus 1840-1840
Thomas Wilson Titus 1841-1887
John Henry Titus 1843-?
Sarah Wiley Titus 1844-1884
Nancy Titus 1846-1846
Calvin Titus 1847-1920
Ann L Titus 1850-?
Catharine Titus 1852-1852
Watson L Titus 1853-1917

5 of the children living at the time of Thomas' death were Mary, John Henry, Calvin, Ann and Watson. There are 3 children whose death dates all show in 1887 so most likely one of those is incorrect.

Thomas W Titus is my 2nd great grandfather, Watson L Titus is my great grandfather, his son Charles C Titus is my grandfather and his son Lloyd W Titus is my father.

Thank you Janet!
