RE: Anna Margaret Keiter (Find A Grave Memorial# 70506002)
According to the info I got from my cousin, Anna would be Johannes' second wife, his first wife's name was Catherine and that is all I have. Again, thanks so much for your help. I am sure you will hear from me again! LOL

RE: Anna Margaret Keiter (Find A Grave Memorial# 70506002)
I just caught you have Sept.10, 1975, should that of been 1775? I have Johannes died before 1775. As I am new to this indepth of searching what would I ask at the Mennonite Heritage Center. Would them being buried there mean they were Mennonite's?

Thanks again! :)

RE: Anna Margaret Keiter (Find A Grave Memorial# 70506002)
Hi Lisa-

I received information from a cousin last week and she has noted just the last name of (InDenHoffen, that is how she has it written) by Anna's so it sounds as if that indeed would be her maiden name. As weird as this may sound to you I teared up about her death during birth of her twin daughters, as I had twin sons who passed away at birth 21 yrs ago this coming November. I will contact the cemetery. Thanks SO much for your help. It really makes me sad to think our ancestors could be forgotten and I want to know who my people are. I may have more questions on this line buried there.

Thanks for all you do and take care!

Anna Margaret Keiter (Find A Grave Memorial# 70506002)

I have been working on my genealogy and I have run into a sort of wall at this point. You added a photo that is attached to the above Memorial, but I can't make out any of what it says. Anna Margreta Keiter is my 6th great-grandmother. Her husband Johannes Keiter (Kiter) is my 6th great-grandfather. I show he was born in 1716 in Friederichstal, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. He died before 1775 Charleston Twp. Chester PA. I can find absolutely nothing on him. In the memorial it says that Anna died with two of her daughters on Sept. 10, 1745 but that is all the info it gives on her death. There are no parents or children listed. I have no idea if they are buried in the same place but I did a search for all PA cemeteries and came up with nothing. Any ideas on what I could be missing? Is it OK to contact the cemeteries to ask questions?

I appreciate any direction or help you can offer, and look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for the photo.

Do you look up obituaries in Bucks and Montgomery counties or just graves?
