I have a great love for family ancestry and old family pictures. It has been said I would rather visit the dead rather than the living, as I love strolling through graveyards, and helping to locate family members.

RE: Joan Snead Swearengin
I may have selected you in error, I was looking at a tombstone that had Ransom Pettus and Lucy Wallace Wallace on it. That was my Grandpa and Granny. I looked at a lot and apparently clicked on the wrong one. Sorry and have a great day. Joan Swearengin

My Mother was Etta Mae Wallace, daughter of Ransom Pettus Wallace. Just thought I would say Hello. My Great Aunt was Nora Wallace Jeter, and she was sister of Ransom Pettus Wallace. Just saw that she was not listed as a sibling. I have a little info on the Wallace Family, but not much. Also my Father was James Edward Snead.

RE: David Derrick Newton
Cynthia, small world. Is the Ernie you spoke up by any chance Earnest Bullard? If so his mother Emmie is in the picture. She is one of the girls, probably 10 or 12, pictured standing to either side of the picture. My grandfather, Henry P. is the tallest son pictured on the back row. The picture is on the David Derrick Newton page on Find a grave. I have many fond memories of Earnest from my childhood. He was a grown up and I thought he looked like a movie star. I do have some other pictures you might be interested in having if you would like for me scan them and send them to you by e-mail.

David Derrick Newton
Cynthia, I have recently added a photo of David Derrick Newton, his wife Elizabeth Gibson Newton, and 9 of their 11 Children. Have you written a book on the history of the Newtons? My brain keeps thinking that I saw that somewhere. Please respond.

You are welcome. It was a pleasure to photograph your request. But foremost it is a privilege to pay homage to our ancestors who served and died for their beliefs

RE: Reedy Chapel ~
Hi Cynthia. Yes the transfers came through, and I corrected them all from what the gravestones tell us. Do you want me to transfer them back now? (Whatever you want, that's what we'll do!) But let me ask you about the Wallace family, because they are my kin and they seem to be the only ones you forgot to transfer to me? Just a reminder. Rich /user 47091329.

Reedy Chapel Cemetery ~ Wallace
Hello Cynthia. Well, a month has passed, hopefully you've made progress and are ready to transfer THESE Wallace memorials, as you said you would. There can be no identity theft concerns anyway, because all that you need (to transfer them) is MY user number. Thanks Cynthia. Rich Dohm / user 47091329
