I am a disabled nurse that likes to hang out in cemeteries... we call it Cemetery Hopping and my mother and I used to do it together. I like to take my camera and snap photos of headstones. Then I come home and add them here.... I'm married, have 3 kids and 4 grandkids.

RE: re: Betty Lynn and michael Gretz
My brother is buried in that cemetery. I took pics of the whole cemetery (since it is so difficult to get to...esp. when they rebuilt the bridge and had a second route). I noticed that she was one that I somehow missed taking photos for. I did not know her, but just wanted her to have pics too. You really went above and beyond to find the husband had passed also...or you knew them?

Also some of the pics srom Hiltop cemetery I uploaded to the transcription tool and it sometimes accidentally made duplicates and when findagrave would delete the duplicates instead of merging them, the pics would disappear from the non-deleted original their spouse, kids on the trying to find and fix those since I have originals..

I have transferred the memorial to you. Mike was a great guy and I created the memorial in his honor and I am happy to pass it on to you.

Joseph P Dalton
Hattie Marie drake (1904-1975) was marriedd to Joseph Perry Dalton (1903-1989). THIS Joseph was her son, the one born in 1924. She was married in 1923 in Athens. They called the younger one "popeye".

RE: Franklin Foster
I think I figured out the person who did genealogy in one of the scrapbooks I have and it has been passed down to someone in the 1960's. It was a Florinel Talbot I think because there are many letters addressed to her. She is the daughter of B. Ellwood Talbot and Elizabeth white Talbot and Elizabeth talbot is the daughter of Benjamin Frank White.

Wow! you would go nuts over what I have. Bought the whole estate of diaries, victorian photographs, scrapbooks, pictures in frames, It cost $40 to ship it to me. I love researching other families and the old obituaries are fragile and crumbling. I am being extra careful with this stuff. I am now trying to figure out who owned this as it states that their mother is Elizabeth White Talbot and I feel that whoever owned this is either Barbara Jo White or maybe the parent of her. I am wondering who Barbara is and if she is still alive. The one who owned this saved every article there was and on most of them wrote how they were related to them. It will take me a while but I will put it together who this is that it belonged to. It is strange but my aunt was married to a white but I am sure he was not kin to this family.

RE: Franklin Foster
I am researching the family and was hoping to find some family member. I own the estate of the whites and they are relatives of the fosters and I have a boat load of information on the family back to the 1800's and a little into the 1700's and 1600's. Never seen anything like it. It is totally nothing but obituary after obituary and hand written notes. I am in awe at how long this will take me to go through. Somebody's hobby was to just collect information on family members and create scrapbooks from newspapers in Athen and middleport, Ohio.
