My father once called my brother and me, "Dead end kids", and now that I am doing this genealogical research, I can feel his disappointment. Both of us had our reasons and our spouses felt the same, but this Find a Grave research has given me great satisfaction. We may not leave descendants, but we can leave a heritage for other members of our extended families to find as time goes on. This is a great network of volunteers who are willing to help each other "fill in the blanks" with photos and information. I had several professional lives, which seems to be the norm. I was first, a fashion designer and spent two years living in New York City enjoying that, then felt called to an occupation with more long-lasting benefits, so returned to Arizona and taught third grade children for 30 years. Upon retirement, my husband and I opened an Antique business which we enjoyed for several years. Since then, discovering the family roots has become a passion...who knew we had been in this country, in many branches, since the 1600s! Now I am hooked! | |

I have visited the grave of Joel Butler and his wife Mabel and have added the pictures to the Find a Grave. They are in the OLD GENEVA CEMETERY in Jennings Co., Indiana. Please add this information to the website. Thanks.

 | RE: Dear Little William Wade Sorry that William's grave is not marked, but as you can tell from the photo of the area, very few in that public lot have marlers...it is VERY sad. | | | trudy pfeiffer

 | FINDAGRAVE MEMORIAL 89967894 FOR CHARLES AUGUSTUS FEWELL his birthdate according to his death certificate is Dec 13 1865 not Nov 13 1866 that is on his memorial, unless there is an error on the death certificate that I am not aware of.

 | RE: Requests for Hazelton grave photos Dear Cerelle, Thank you for the photos and claiming the request. I'm sorry I didn't notice the different name when the other photos appeared. It's happened before. I would like to see your other photos. I like the ones you posted, and it seems like a very pretty cemetery. The Hazeltons are the parents and elder brother of one of my friends, who is getting interested in genealogy, and I'm sure he will want to see your other photos, too. Thank you again and may God bless you and your husband. Sincerely, Carolyn Womack | | | Deborah M. Hunn Collins
