Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy since the late 1990s. I enjoy taking photos of headstones, preserving the captions upon them, and helping to make it possible for descendants to locate their ancestors. Occassionally, I make a mistake. Please let me know and I will gladly correct it. If you would like me to transfer management of any of the memorials to you, please let me know. I'll be happy to do so as long as I am not a direct descendant of the person in question.

RE: Sarah E. Nichols
If you look closely at the photo you added it reads 1863 at 43y 6m 14d, not 13y 6m 11d.

RE: Sarah E. Nichols
Not a problem. It looks like you may have found a Sarah E. Nichols, who died in 1863, that the cemetery did not have listed on their website. Thats a good find :) ... still trying to find some information on a Sarah E. Nichols who died in 1898.

Sarah E. Nichols
Unless of course its a major typo on the cemetery website. I will see if I can find anything on a Sarah who died in 1863 or 1898.

Sarah E. Nichols
Hi Carol, you just added a photo to Sarahs memorial.

According to the cemetery this Sarah died Nov. 28, 1898 at 13 years. If you look close the headstone states Apr. 21, 1863 at 43y 6m 14d. I dont think this is the same person.

It looks like Sarah who died 1898 is on the same stone as Emma who died 1881.

John and Minnie Holmberg
Hi Carol,

My boyfriend and I have recently purchased a home in Denver, built by John Holmberg for himself and his wife, Minnie. We are beyond thrilled to live here - we feel very strongly that we're not so much owners as caretakers of the house. Much of the beautiful features that John did are still here, and are intact - all of the woodwork, some original murals are all here and have been beautifully preserved, and the care that was put into their construction is very evident.

We would be happy to share photos of the house as it is now, and would love to see any family photos that you may have that show the house as it was originally constructed.

Please let me know if you're interested in sharing photos.

Best regards,

Cynthia and James

Lydia Blair correction
Thanks for the correction of the names of Lydia Mefford Blair's parents. Her memorial now reflects your correction. Do you know where her parents are buried or the names of Lydia's children, if any?

The records are from the Steele Cemetery Book Volume 6. Glad you were able to get it.
