Mr. Ziegler: I do not have any links to the Zieglers, but my wife does. She is from York County.
The 1st Ziegler I come across in her line is Anna Judith Ziegler (1686-1730). And I do not have an Alan listed.

Please go ahead and post those pictures, we do not live in Ohio but have lots of relatives there.

Are these Zeiglers any relation to my 2nd great grandfather Samuel who was born in 1834 and was married to Eliza Myers? I believe he died in 1868 because many of his children are living with other families in the 1870 census. Moses is with the Harbolds, Sarah is with the Deardorffs and my great grandfather is with the Brown family all in Adams County, Pa. I have been stuck on this for a long time. If you have any information at all please contact me at email@example.com

You're welcome! My husband and I were in Vinton County a few years ago looking for his ancestors. He has a great or maybe great great grandparents who were Gaskills. So I photographed all the Gaskills in the cemetery there. I bet somehow they are all related.

Sorry...I did not finish the message before I accidentally sent. I did not dig out any stones. I think I may have deciphered or photographed a few? I would have to check the internment list to refreshed my memory.

I visited Kemp cemetery to try and fulfill photo request for Find A Grave. I grew up in the area and am back frequently to care for an elderly parent. I remember the person in charge unlocking the gate so I could visit. I did not dig anything out, but only perhaps brushed a stone off. There are very few stones left, and what there is sits against a tree in the back in many

Thank you! I looked on-line to see if I could find a book to buy. I would love it as a resource. If the son has one to sell, feel free to give him my e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Merry Christmas, Cousin, and thank you for making the effort and taking the time at a very busy time of year!

Waht a nice present from Santa! You are the first Ziegler cousin I have heard from in a very long time! Given that there are so many...
I appreciate the information about Sarah's mother; Sarah has been more difficult to figure out than I had expected. Is there any information on Sarah's father (or husband of Elizabeth)?
I have been spending time on find-a-grave and elsewhere sort of trying to get Zieglers organized, at least for me, but Sarah has eluded me.
Thank you very, very much.

Hi - I just fulfilled a photo request for Merle's memorial and noticed that his picture that you posted is labeled as a 'grave picture'. If you repost Merle's picture and label it 'person' - it will show up as the first photo.
Just wanted to let you know - Jim

Yes, there are several Valentine's in the Shearer line. I know where many are buried here in Iowa. I go to the cemeteries each year at Memorial Day. Thanks for the information. Kathy
