I transferred this memorial to you but I added the other information I had on her first.
Irene Lucille (Nelson) Hoffman
She was the daughter of #91476106
and #91476107 (John and Julia Nelson).
My cousin from Sweden and myself (#47376641) have been putting our families together in a family history. Per, who lives in Sweden was very excited to find this family. Stina Johanna Svensdotter was my grandfather's great aunt. Here they lived only a couple of hours from each other and they never had an idea they were related.
Thank you for posting her photo, it was so much fun to see.

Hi Kim, I just stumbled upon your entries and pictures of Algae and other family members. My mother, Kathleen, was a good friend of Algae's and I grew up thinking of Algae as a kind of grandmother. In fact, the picture you have posted of Algae's sister, Lillian, is a picture taken at my parent's home. If it's the same picture I think it is, I am the young girl sitting with Lillian in that picture. These pictures are wonderful to see and bring back so many memories. My Mom died in 2009 and I have gotten the genealogy bug since then and recently stumbled upon the Find A Grace site. On a whim tonight I put in Algae's name. And here I am writing to you. Are you interested in pictures I have of Algae? If you have any pictures of Algae with my mom, I would love to receive copies - and would pay for them. Hoping to hear from you soon. Are you on Ancestry.com? I have my mother's family tree on Ancestry and I'm currently updating the James' family; trying to include all known descendants of Daniel & Lydia with as much source information as possible.
Do you have any information on Daniel & Lydia, i.e., dates and places of death? Some researchers show their death as abt 1831 in Maryland. I always thought they went to KY with their children. Thomas married Priscilla in Henry Co., KY.
I have quite a bit of information on the descendants of Daniel & Elizabeth. Nothing on the Taylor's and would like to find more about them.
Will look forward to hearing from you. My email address is email@example.com.

Are you related to the James family buried in Mt. Harmony Cemetery in Schuyler County, Illinois? Also, Nancy Ann Taylor buried in same cemetery. If so, I would like to exchange information with you.

Hi Kim, I understand you have an interest in the Adair family. I also recently became interested as my grandfather is Dairus Coy Adair. I wanted to know more about this man as my father knew little. Dairus Coy Adair was married on December 18, 1935 to Lila and divorced October 7, 1938. To this union was my father Richard Eugene on July 25, 1936. I have been searching for an obituary for Robert and Milo. I know Robert is buried in the Sunset Memorial Gardens in DSM. I am interested in knowing survivor names. I do know that my father has two half brothers in and around Oregon/Idaho that was a result of the union of Veta and Dairus Adair. His second wife. I have obtained articles on the plane crash that took the life of Dairus on 9-18-48. We have a letter written to my grandmother in 1948 by Robert after the death of Dairus informing her and his 12 yr./old son at the time of this tragic accident.I recently learned that all siblings are deceased of Dairus Coye Adair. The last one 7/10 being Ora Jean Adair Thompson. I had an opportunity to speak with her dtr. Alana which would be a second cousin. Let me know your relationship to the family and if you have further info. Thanks, Rhonda

Kim, I came across this site today and was pleasantly surprised to find pictures of my great great grandparents, Anna & Johan Carlson. My grandfather was Alphy Hoffman and he was the grandson of the Carlsons. His parents were Nicholas and Sabina Hoffman. Can you tell me where you found these pictures and if you have any more of the Carlson or Hoffman family? I would love to have any pictures of them and would pay whatever it might cost to have copies made and sent. Please let me know if you might be agreeable to that. Thanks!
Nancy (Heinemann) Berry
