|Ernest Barrett||Cmaeron - Pegram connection|
Robert - My name is Ernest Clifford ("Ford") Barrett, III, and my grandmother was Phrony Pegram (Mrs. Barton Haxall Grundy of Richmond) whose father was Richard G. Pegram [Jr.] of Petersburg. One of R.G. Pegram's other children was Delia Pegram who married George Cameron, and I gather you are the direct descendant of that marriage. The Richard G. Pegram [Jr.] that we share was born in 1829, was a Captain in the CSA, and is, I understand, the second of three Richard G. Pegrams. His father was named Richard G. Pegram, and I understand Pegram Jr had a son (Delia's and Phrony's brother) also named Richard G. Pegram [III]. (I refer to the second and third Pegrams as "Jr" and "III" respectively.) Is the above accurate to your knowledge? Where do you live? Please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I live in Washington, D.C.
|Jean Madden||Isabella Cruikshank|
I think I'm one of your cousins, a descendent of George Cameron, Jr. > Gabriella Cameron Bronson > NRB II. I'm fascinated to know how you found Isabella's gravestone - I was just at the Blanford cemetery last week, and they have no record of Isabells Cruikshank on their computer. I'm also interested to know who William and Martha Louisa Cameron are, the people on whose monument Isabella's name seems to listed. Would you please contact me? email@example.com. Thanks very much for laying this groundwork!
You are most welcome!
I've added your name to my friend list,feel free to do the same if you like.Might be able to help someone out ,looking for someone.
