RE: Cramton/Crampton
I have looked at Richard and Sandra's Cramton/Crampton files, and it looks like I have left out the p in their names. I will delete my entry for these people. I did notice that the person who created the memorial for Richard has the incorrect death place. It should be Palmetto, Florida not Sterling Heights Michigan.
Thank you for catching this, Dave

Thanks for catching the birth year. It should be 1882 and I have corrected the error.

Nellie Crampton
Hello. I paid another visit to the Crampton plot at Lutheran Cemetery in Queens. Aside from the large monument previously photographed, there are several smaller stones: (father) William Crampton (1852-1927), a half sunken stone for "--lie" who died in 1900, plus stones without dates for (mother) Katharine Crampton, Marie and Magdalena (together on one marker), Father Mother (together on one marker), Adam, August and Elizabeth (together on one stone.)

Thanks, Ike, for the heads up about the memorials for Abigail Cramton. I've added the additional information to the original memorial and then asked the two other people who made the duplicates to remove theirs. I also asked for the obit to be transferred to the original.

Hope this clears everything up,

Nellie Crampton
Sorry, other than the photo, I do not have any information about Nellie Crampton. I actually took the photo yesterday while walking through the cemetery. The Crampton stone is very large and is located in the area of the cemetery with some of the largest and most elaborate mausoleums and plots. The plot is actually located next to a mausoleum that is designed to look like a castle with a turret. In the long shot of the area, it looks like there may be smaller stones in the Crampton plot. I will check next time I am in that area of Lutheran to see if there are any other inscriptions.

RE: Douglas Crampton
Actually, I didn't get any info to connect parents. I found his brother and his kids, but nothing about parents. They are on Facebook. You can contact them and ask if you want. There were 2 different Crampton families in that area. I was not able to connect my line into the other one. The other one has an Indian connection so it's possible Doug is connected there somewhere or distantly in my line, but I don't have him at all in my research.
