I am 30 years old, originally from Arizona, but I have been in Idaho for 15 years. I met my wife at BYU-Idaho, and we now have two beautiful daughters and two adorable sons. I have been obsessed with genealogy since I was very young, and I am happy to help others find their ancestors.|
Lately I have been getting multiple requests for the same action in the same week. Please be patient. I generally take care of all of my emails on weekends, because I have a lot keeping me busy during the week. If I don't fulfill your request within a couple weeks, feel free to resend it at that point.
I contribute to this website because I have gotten so much out of it for my own research. I love finding records of my relatives' burials, and especially love when there is a picture of their grave included. My contributions are my way of giving back. I'm not trying to get the biggest numbers on my profile, although I admit that I check my numbers often. (I have a degree in Mathematics, I can't help it.)
I try to add family links, places, middle and maiden names, and any other information I can find to each memorial. If you have this information and I have not included it, please notify me through the Suggest a Correction link under the Edit tab. I usually get to them the following weekend. I will transfer family members, as long as they are not my relatives also, but I ask that if I transfer them to you that you be willing to update the memorial if anyone asks. One thing I hate is a "dead memorial," one that the contributor doesn't take care of and nobody can ever update again.
If you find a birth or death certificate for one of my memorials, please send me the link rather than adding it as a picture to the memorial. I love adding these extra links, and I think it looks better than a picture of a document.
I am also working on getting my entire family, no matter how distant, linked and updated on here. This involves a whole lot of correction emails. I don't generally include source information with my emails, because of the time it takes, but in most cases I have that information handy if requested. If you have received hundreds of emails from me, please be patient. I am not trying to annoy anyone, and I am not in a rush to have it done, I'm just trying to help make this site better for future visitors.
When I find a relative's memorial, I add it to my virtual cemeteries under the branch of my family that they come from. As of March 9, 2014, I have 24068 relatives found on Find a Grave. I usually leave flowers on relatives' graves if they don't have any yet, because I don't want any of them to be forgotten.

Hi, Logan! I'm wondering if you've seen today's Standard Examiner in Ogden, Utah? It turns out Lee Beeler's name wasn't Lee Beeler at all--it was Clyde Lee Jourdan. Let me see if I can find a link for you.
I thought you'd want to change his name on the memorial. They're about to disinter and cremate so they can send him back to his mom.

I noticed that you had left flowers on two of my ancestors memorials. I have just recently gotten back into my research (had been doing it for 15 years but decided to open a business that has kept me quite busy for the last ten)and was in ancestry checking leaves which brought me here. I was just wondering if we were related. James Barber (in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale CA.) is my great grandfather and Ellamay Morris Barber is my grandmother. Would love to get in touch if we are!! Thanks for leaving flowers for them!

I saw that you left flowers on my great-grandparents memorials. I was just wondering if you're related and if so how? I grew up knowing them which has helped a lot in my own family research.

How did you obtain a copy of my picture of Great Great grampa Jones? Are you related?

We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.
If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.
