Wheeler/Stewart
Thanks so much for all of your hard work. I was curious to know if in your findings there was a Jacob Wheeler/Wieler buried near his daughter Mary J (Wheeler) Stewart Memorial# 148126136. Birth 23 NOV 1833 Death 9 SEPT. 1915. His death record states he is buried in the Avondale Cemetery, I have yet to find him listed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

RE: stillborn Wilton
"or the cemetery database used the father's name as part of the burial identification"

I think this is the case. I also did some further digging. Of the 4 brothers - James' wife was over 50 the time so likely too old, Richard (my direct line) has all his children (deceased and otherwise) accounted for in our family documents and David had a child born on Dec 23, 1895 (so too late for another born Jan 1896). So Samuel Wilton seems the most likely candidate to be father of the child in question.

Thanks for looking into it and for putting it on your "To Do" list for further investigation! In the meantime, I changed the memorial name to "Infant Wilton".

RE: George Wilton
Thanks! Apparently I missed that when I was looking at the index. lol. As for the stillborn Samuel - he must be one of mine but I can't tell which one of the Wilton brothers he is from - there are 4 of them buried in that plot. There is no birth or death record on Ancestry. I'll make a memorial anyway and if I ever figure him out, I'll do the links.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the plot edits for my Wiltons at Avondale! Just curious as to how you knew George Wilton's middle name was George?
