Louden Brown and Elizabeth Gover Brown
Hello, I am Patricia Morris and I'm working on my Cline and Brown Genealogy. I have some information that I would like for you to add to GGG-grand parents please. Brown Cemetery Caldwell Co Missouri.
Elizabeth GOVER Brown:
born- 1794 ,​ Pittsylvania Co,​ Virginia; Death 1877 age 84..Caldwell Co Missouri
Married :1812 Pittsylvania Co,Virginia, Husband-Louden Brown
Parents: John GOVER,​ Polly Mary DYER they died in Pulaski Co,Kentucky, her father
John Grover and two Brothers Drowned in the Kentucky River all together, none of the Grover family ever came to Missouri. Elizabeth Grover Brown and Louden Brown came to Missouri in 1838.
Twins were born to them 1823 the one living was Polly Brown.

Louden Brown:
Born in Virgina 1790,moved to KY.about 1817,in 1838 moved to Lafayette County MO.1839 moved to Caldwell MO..In 1812 he married Elizabeth Gover of Virgina who was born in 1795.
Louden Brown died Oct 14 1838 age 68 years. His Wife died in 1877.

John W. BROWN Born 1815 Pulaski county,Kentucky
Porter BROWN Born 1817 Pulaski county,Kentucky

Polly BROWN Born 1823 Pulaski county,Kentucky
Martha BROWN Born 1825 Pulaski county,Kentucky
Samuel T. BROWN Born 1827 Pulaski county,Kentucky

Elizabeth Emeline Brown 1830 Pulaski county,Kentucky ,my GGgrandmother- married Andrew Johann Cline my GGGrandfather.

Bolin BROWN Born1833 Pulaski county,Kentucky
Frances Jane /Brown/ gender: Female BIRTH 18 February 1836 Pulaski county,Kentucky

I was wondering if you remembered, when you took the three photos of the Sutton's in the Sutton cemetery out in Wayne county Missouri off county road 214, was that all the graves marked there???

i do not have directions to this cemetery. the photo was taken by a friend who makes several trips to the area a year. I will email him and ask if he can give me directions.

Sorry it took so long but I had to ask if it was ok to dig . I posted the photo , I will also check the records and see what they say about Samuel. I will keep you posted I will also be posting this on Facebook for the Logan County Genealogical Society at a later date. We have a restoration project coming up and I think we need to show this stone. Thanks Debby

Goodmorning!

If you go into your family members memorial and scroll down on the left hand side to the information about the cemetery, when you are logged in, there should be a button to Edit the cemetery information. When you click on the button you will be given the option to seach a cemetery, you will look for Oakland, it will give you a list of cemeteries. You will want to select Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk, Lee County, Iowa. It will then move the memorial to the cemetery without affecting any of the information in the memorial and you will remain the owner of the memorial.
