| Bio and Links | | I have been doing genealogy for about six years, but just now got to this sight. Wonderful. I am a grandmother and have six grandchildren. I have started posting our families and love it. I have traveled to every state in the US except Hawaii. I like old movies. My fav. cousin and I talk back and forth almost everyday about our family. Good news, James' death cert was found. It was missfiled under 1919 as the death cert states that is when he was last seen alive. Would this mean that his wife Emeline had passed? One answer always leads to more questions.

Working on filling your request and I'm not finding him here in Vandalia so far. I printed the Ill. death index that shows he died and was buried here. Nothing at the court house and nothing listed in the cemetery book. I'm still looking and chatting with my friend who is the gr gr grandaughter of James A. Oliver. She is looking through her family papers. She gave me his middle name Rucker. I found his marriage record on ancestry.

Unmarked graves of Maurice and Nancy Jenkins are located between Esther Anderson (left) in Lot 911 and Blanche Massie (right) in Lot 907. I posted a photo, and there was a photo already posted??
