A big Thank you there for the Woodkirk
transfer, and I had tracked some Woodkirks
to Illinois, but the last I noted, no more
information on that possible relative

As with the relationships with these Woodkirks and My Great-Great-Grandmother Mary Butler, 4th wife of Eli Ambrose Troutman, was the
daughter of Great-Great-Great-Grandfather Hiram Butler who married Margaret 'Peggy' Woodirk on 8 July 1812 in Wayne County,
Indiana. Hiram and Margaret were parents
to at least six (6) children prior to her death
in 1826? Then was married to Hannah Jordan
on 17 January 1827, and they had at least six
(6) children from this marriage prior to his death on 16 October 1844 in Cass County near Royal Center. Some Woodkirks appear on the 1790 Census from the Kentucky area of Virginia State territory, then by 1810, 1820 Census in Wayne County, Indiana. Haven't had much success with any research on the Woodkirks before Kentucky/
Virginia or since. Haven't any problem with transfer, appreciate that and any further information that may develop in time. | | | Carol Warner
