I have been involved in Family History for over 35 years. At first I would travel to the Genealogy Library in Salt Lake City from CA whenever I could, and make copies of the patron files. Then I realized, after a very short time, that I needed to start actually researching and finding primary records. I have enjoyed the process and have learned, and am still learning, how to do it. I have "collected" pictures of grave stones of some of my ancestors for many years, and am glad to have Find A Grave to post memorials on. I thank all on Find A Grave who have helped me obtain pictures of grave stones.|
Researching: Barlow, Jenkins, Ostler, Endacott, Dahlquist/Dahlqvist, Welling, Holmes, Cowles, Rounds, Haley, Hulsey, Arave

|Ingrid Dahlqvist||Robertīs grave|
please alter the description of the Dahlqvist grave. The family did not have to stop paying. We decided in 1996 that it was time not to keep the grave anymore. No one but me ever visited it and more and more seldom so. We keep the memory of Robert and Betty in our hearts.

Yes, I found his gravestone on billiongraves.com

Yes, I don't know who put her name like that. I found it that way when I first entered and took ownership. I will figure out how to change that.
I did not input this memorial, but Mary Parmele had access to the obituaries at the genealogy library in Columbus, Kansas. I suppose that is where the information came from.
I added Shellenbarger as her maiden name, is that correct? Was she married twice before with those other two names as her surnames? I would appreciate any other info you could give me. Thanks

You are welcome. I knew Sherm.

You're welcome! I'm glad I put someone in that you were looking for.

It is my pleasure to do this for you and for the web site. I realized that the photographs we take now, may outlast the stone itself. It is sad to see some of the stones disintegrating away to where we can't read them anymore....
All the best,
P.S. I always check the surrounding area for a similar name just in case. But none was found in either locations.

I don't know Grace, just wondered if you knew Jessie Hulsey from Carterville, MO area.
I have Hulsey ancestors too. My great aunt was Jessie Hulsey (born in MO).
