I am a volunteer for http://http://www.gengathering.com/|
"A global gathering of researchers and
genealogists that "give and take".
"an all-volunteer web site and mailing list dedicated to providing obituary lookups all over the world."
I retired from the navy in 1991, and then worked a few more years. In 2006 I retired again (my wife says I was to young to retire so I needed hobbies.) I find doing family history work to be an enjoyable hobby.
Feel free to use any photo I have posted. I believe sharing is one of the many nice wonders of this site.
I will galdly transfer any memorials I have created to any direct family member requesting them. Please include what your relation is and please use the edit link to request trasfers.
(NOTE: if I have requested infromation from you I will not transfer memorials till I receive the information.)
If you find an error or have any additional information on any of the memorials I have created please send me the additonal infromation or corrections, again please use the edit feature.
A special THANKS goes out to all of you who have already done so much for this site.

Thanks for letting me know Clint. I do have family ties ... just have not gone in to depth with this line ... just starting the work now. Life keeps getting in the way of the things I love to do LOL.
Thanks for the info.

In Maple Leaf Cemetery you transferred two memorials to me ... one titled Don Abrahamse and the other Donald Abrahamse. Donald has a grave photo but Don's does not. Don's death date is a few years earlier than Donald's but their birth year is the same. Is it possible Don and Donald are one in the same???

Guess I didn't explain that very well. We think Leonard Peterson (burial listing) and Len Peterson (headstone) are the same person. Allen is the other headstone, above Len's.
I would love to give each of the Wooles Twins their own memorial page. I'll talk with the girls and see if any of them would like to research this. If not, I know others who will.
Maybe I typed the email wrong. Try: firstname.lastname@example.org. If that doesn't work you can use: email@example.com.
|ywembark2015||RE: Allen Nienhuis and Len Peterson|
I was figuring the death date difference was because the headstone would reflect death date, the burial listing is the internment date. That would mean he was buried about 8 days after passing away. Our email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks again for all that you are doing to keep up. I know it has been a lot of checking and work for you. I am working with a group of young women (teens) who started this as a service project to fill requests and decided they wanted to complete the cemetery. Now they are making noises about wanting to learn how to clean/restore headstones!
Sorry, I meant Clint not Ross.
Ross, just because their names are on a grave marker, it don't mean they are dead. Many spouses have both names added when one partner passes. A non-dead person should not be on Find a Grave.
Thanks, we really appreciate all of your feed back.
