Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been into family tree research for almost all of my life. Finding the stories behind the data is what makes it important. Recording those for family members I will never know is my modest legacy to the family. I have put down on paper(and electronic file) things that would have been lost without my efforts so I feel a sense of accomplishment. Even if only a very few of the family sees any value to my efforts, its the generations yet unborn that will value my work.

Thanks so much for the photo of the headstone for Leland and Ruth. It answered a few questions for me and I REALLY appreciate it.

Take care!

Hi I am sorry to let you know I do not have more information on Thelma. Someone left flowers on her grave my suggestion is contact that person and see if they have more information. Sorry. Steve

RE: Armor Cemetery
Hi Doug,

I really appreciate the correction, which I'll attempt to make and your kind offer. As far as I know these are the only members of our family buried in Hillcrest.

Best wishes,
Nancy

RE: Slaughter Cemetery
Douglas,
I'm afraid I can't help you on this. I have no idea where this cemetery is located.

You're welcome. I would be interested since there are so many, I got what I have on it from the library, and then after that found it on the internet. Anyway, thanks for bringing it to my attention, but as you walk in the gate, and turn left at St. John's, the flat marker is there, body or not body.

I'm sorry, I normally check to see if there are duplicates, but I didn't on that one. I was at St. John's Catholic Cemetery near where I live in Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky and took a picture of his marker. So, where is this character actually buried? He isn't at St. John's? Why the marker then? Thanks ahead of time for any information you can give me.

America King
Hi Doug,
I transfered the memorial. America is not a relative of mine. I was exploring cemeteries in my county a while back and was taking a few photos. I'm glad she has a family to be connected to now!
