Bio and Links
The memorial pages I create are most often for my own kinsmen by blood, marriage, or adoption. Occasionally I include an unrelated member of their households, a friend, neighbor or business associate. I am happy to make transfers to direct descendants or to people who are more closely related than I.
If you find errors on any of these pages, please tell me. I welcome and encourage the addition of biographies, obituaries, photos, and family links.
Please note that I do not tolerate plagiarizing these memorial pages or any photographs associated with them. Gravestone photos often were taken by volunteers. Any use of them should be by permission of the posters. Other personal photographs of people, places, or things are precious family possessions, often heavily edited for posting herein. Any use of them is to be by permission of the poster. Neither photographs nor memorial pages may be "tagged" and lifted for use on other websites without specific written permission of the author of the website and the person who posted the photographs.
The memorial pages I create and/or manage are intended to honor and be a perpetual memorial to my family members, friends, and associates. Each has taken hours of research and careful thought. I do not upload en masse memorials.
I have added the above information because recently I discovered that a large number of my memorial pages, including photographs, have been lifted and installed on a website called "Geni" [www.Geni.com] by a Marie Hope, who is also a Find-a-Grave poster. She is not a family member and is so distantly related by marriage as to not be associated with this family at all.

Divorce of Dale Clair Christensen and Violet Lela Varney
Hi. I'm trying to flesh out my understanding of Dale Clair Christensen. Do you have any records or information or other kind of confirmation about his divorce with Violet Lela Varney? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, Mary. I was hoping to find more on Thomas P. Gilliam (1825-ca1873. I saw the Ancestry tree, but was hoping for some documentation for him.
Frances Franks was his second wife, and I am a descendant of his first wife.
Oh well, onward through the fog. Thanks for all your good work. Jane

May Wason Simpson
Re: Memorial# 72463903
I am trying to find out more about May Wason Simpson's mother, Mary Tennessee Gilliam Wason.
"Mollie" Gilliam Wason was a half-sister to my great grandmother. If you have additional information on this Gilliam family, I would like to visit with you. Thank you.

RE: Amos Marney
Ok thanks... that would be great to see a picture of him My fiance and I have taken an interest in learning of him and his family. We are going today to see the grave of his brother in Bethel Cemetery. We were wandering if it would be ok to fix Amos headstone? It is cracked into two pieces. We would like to fix it if it is ok with whomever we need to ask. Thanks again... please let me know if you can find a picture of Amos.
