Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello. Wendy and I live in the Memphis area.

My career in the Marine Corps landed us here. After retiring from the Corps, we settled and are building the next chapter of our lives. Our children and grandchildren remain our first love, but we do have a passion for genealogy and history.

I am an avid military researcher and collector, and Wendy is a member of the Mayflower Society, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Daughters of Union Veterans.

In between our full time jobs, we enjoy researching and sharing our discoveries. We have enjoyed the richness and bounty our country has to offer largely due to the work and sacrifice of our ancestors. Thus as a way to honor them, we strive to preserve the history of their journeys. Participating in organizations such as Find A Grave allows us to do just that.

Bruce's family includes the surnames: Doeller, Felthes, Gumtow, Hachman, Hechley, Keis, Koppy, Linz, Paterlick, Probst, Ringloff, Salzl, Schmidt, Streitz, Urban, Wiener.

Wendy's family includes the surnames: Allerton, Burow, Clark, Cushman, Dawson, Dumerce, Eaton, Johnson, Jones, Judkins, Kraft, Miller, Moore, Pearcy, Priest, Rahn, Robideaux (aka Robidoux), Smart, Spencer, Stevens, Stewart, Walker, Weins.

If you have information about any of our families we would love to hear from you. Let's trade stories.

Any photos I post on Find a Grave are intended to be used. Please feel free to use the photos for your personal needs or documentation.

# 3149046 I found this and believe that this may be the marker for our relative. Can you check it out for us--if there are any records at the cemetery?? It fits.

I cannot reach the woman who set up the memorial for our relative--apparently she is ill and does not use the computer.

Denise Jackie Obrien Thieroff
Dear Wendy and Bruce:
I can get to Queen of Heaven tomorrow and snap a photo of Denise J O Thieroff but there is one LITTLE problem. Queen of Heaven will not give out precise grave locations to non-relatives. They have turned many Find-A-Grave volunteers before.

If you can phone the cemetery office and get the exact grave location, and email it back to me, I can then go and find the grave. I have done this with other folks before and it works out fine.

Once I know the location, they will direct me to the proper spot, but they won't actually give me the location unless I come knowing it.

Let me know if you can phone them, introduce yourself as a relative and tell them you need to know the precise location for your family research.
